“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

Footage is shown Jack Swagger attacking both Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio on Monday Night RAW. He viciously assaulted both men as well as Ricardo Rodriguez with a ladder. Tonight, Jack Swagger will take on Big E. Langston. Footage is also shown of The Shield laying out Team Hell No. Daniel Bryan will attempt to avenge the beat downs by taking on Dean Ambrose tonight.

Lilian Garcia introduces Chris Jericho, who is in the ring with the Highlight Reel set. Jericho gets a great reception from the crowd, and they chant his name. Jericho welcomes the crowd to the Highlight Reel. His guest tonight in nine days at Extreme Rules will challenge John Cena for the WWE Championship in a Last Man Standing Match. His guest is the man, the monster Ryback. Ryback makes his way to the ring as the commentators talk about what happened with Ryback on this past Monday’s RAW. Ryback defeated Kane, but The Shield was soon out to attack. Daniel Bryan ran out to protect Kane, and Ryback bailed out of the ring. The Shield went to attack a defenseless Bryan, but John Cena ran out to even the odds. They were getting the better of The Shield until Ryback attacked Cena with a steel chair.

Jericho says Ryback has made some incredible waves over the last month. It all started the night after WrestleMania when he attacked John Cena and announced his intentions to beat him for the title. Jericho says in the history of the Highlight Reel, he has liked to stir things up and mess with his guests. Tonight, things are different. When it comes to Cena, he sees where Ryback is coming from. Ryback says he doesn’t need Jericho’s approval on what he did. Jericho says since it’s his show, Ryback is going to have to listen to him talk. He knows why Ryback is doing what he’s doing. How many times has he been screwed out of the WWE Title and been attacked by The Shield? Ryback asks what his point is. Jericho says he’s a little hostile. Jericho says Ryback talks about “Ryback Rules.” What exactly are Ryback’s rules? They’re not “don’t eat carbs” or “don’t swim until thirty minutes after you eat.” Jericho thinks his rules are simpler than that. His rules are probably he’ll do whatever it takes to win. He understands where he’s coming from. He did the same thing. He’s been the WWE Champion six times. To do that, he built a chip on his shoulder bigger than the Big Show. He had enemies in this company whether it was John Cena, Shawn Michaels, or Bob Barker. If you weren’t with him, you were against him.

Ryback asks if this is the part where Jericho says he’s seen the error in his ways. Jericho judges him for doing the selfish thing. He takes care of himself. Jericho says he’s not judging him, but the WWE Universe is. The Jerichoholics are judging him. The crowd begins to boo, and Ryback doesn’t look too happy. Jericho says they’re booing because they understand the difference between what it takes to beat The Rock and Steve Austin in the same night to become the Undisputed Champion and beating a one-legged John Cena in a Last Man Standing Match. Maybe the end justifies the means. Maybe Ryback will get what he wants. Maybe he would rather be the type of cowardly champion who cuts corner and takes the easy way out rather than being the nice guy who always finishes second. Jericho warns him to be careful what he wishes for. He could win the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules, but if he does, then he will lose the respect of the people here and in the WWE Universe.

Ryback says Jericho talks way too much. What makes Jericho think he won’t drop him right here, right now? Jericho says he’s looking right in his eyes, and he doesn’t think he’s going to do a damn thing. Teddy Long’s music hits, and the Special Assistant to the Smackdown General Manager comes out to the stage. Long says this isn’t the way it’s going to go down. If they have some business they want to settle, then they’ll do it in tonight’s main event. For the first time ever, Ryback will go one-on-one with Y2J Chris Jericho. Ryback then drops Jericho with a straight right hand to the jaw before walking off. Jericho gets to his feet and angrily looks at Ryback as he leaves.

Mark Henry will attempt to set a world record by pulling two tractor-trailers at 55 tons by himself. That will happen later tonight.

Matt Striker says Henry has impressed the WWE Universe with his feats of strength. He’s already pulled one tractor-trailer. Now he’s going to attempt to make history and pull two tractor-trailers at 110,000 pounds across the finish line. Henry says there have been a lot of strong men that have pulled trucks, boats, trolleys, and buses, but there is nobody on God’s green earth that has ever pulled two tractor-trailers. Earlier was just an example. Tonight, this is a demonstration of how he’s going to pull Sheamus like a rag doll. At Extreme Rules, all four corners are going to be touched. Henry begins to pull, but he struggles, and the tractor-trailers don’t move. Henry stops to take a breather.
