Our host for the evening, Alexa Bliss, walks out to open the show. She said this show doesn’t need just a host, but it needs a Goddess. Bliss said she can make anything happen tonight with the snap of a finger. Bliss snaps her fingers.
Hulk Hogan walks out to a big reaction inside Metlife Stadium. Hogan jokes it is great to be back here at the Silverdome (callback to his mistake at WrestleMania 30). He ends up calling it Melife “Center” instead of Metlife Stadium. He talks about seeing over 80,000 Hulkamaniacs live in attendance tonight. Hogan poses with Bliss.
Corey Graves immediately points out Hogan’s mistake on the mic.
Paul Heyman walks out and grabs a mic. He said if his client isn’t on last tonight, they aren’t hanging out around to wait and they are getting their business done. Heyman said his client will get on a jet to Las Vegas where his client is “ultimately appreciated.” He said we are going to do this Universal Championship match right here, right now.
WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is heading to the ring.

Lesnar immediately cuts off Rollins with knees and forearms when he tries to get inside the ring. Lesnar tosses Rollins into the barricade at ringside. Lesnar with an F5 to Rollins over the floor immediately. Lesnar tosses Rollins into the side of the LED boards around the ring. Corey Graves points out the match hasn’t even started yet. Lesnar grabs Rollins and tosses him over one of the announce tables at ringside. Lesnar tosses Rollins over another table.
Lesnar tosses Rollins inside the ring. The referee is checking on Rollins. Lesnar is yelling at the referee to ring the bell. The referee is asking Rollins if he can continue. Lesnar tosses Rollins over the top rope, props up the top part of an announce table against the ring and tosses Rollins over it. The top part of the table cracks in half. Lesnar smiles.
Lesnar has Rollins inside the ring. The bell officially rings. Here we go.
Lesnar charges Rollins in the corner throwing knees. Lesnar with the first release german suplex. Lesnar yells out “SUPLEX CITY BITCHES.” Lesnar with a second release german. Referee is distracted after Rollins pushes Lesnar into him. Referee rolls out of the ring to recover. Rollins with a low blow! The referee is back in. Rollins with a kick to the head of Lesnar. Rollins connects with a Curb Stomp. Rollins with a second Curb Stomp as Lesnar is trying to recover. Rollins with a third Curb Stomp. Rollins gets the pinfall!

AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
Orton goes for an RKO early, but Styles avoids it. Orton catches Styles with a thumb to the eye and begins to stomp away over his body. Styles responds with a big dropkick. Orton tosses Styles off the ring apron sending him into the barricade. Back inside, Orton applies a headlock to keep Styles grounded. Loud “LET’S GO STYLES” chant in Metlife Stadium. Styles fights out, connects with a low forearm, shot in the corner and backbreaker over the knee on Orton. Crowd is very behind AJ tonight. Styles gets the Calf Crusher applied. Orton is able to break it up reaching the bottom rope. Styles teases a springboard, Orton jumps down to avoid, Styles stops himself then springboards and connects with a 450. Orton cuts off Styles with a backbreaker over his lower back. Orton with a huge superplex on Styles off the top turnbuckle! Orton with a quick uppercut on Styles. Orton connects with his DDT off the middle ropes. The crowd in Metlife seems distracted by something happening. Styles with a kick to the head of Orton. Orton fires back with an RKO! Styles kicks out. Orton is attempting an RKO off the top rope. Styles counters and kicks Orton in the head. Styles catches Orton with a Phenomenal Forearm springboarding off the top rope to the outside! Orton attempts another RKO. Styles avoids it. Styles is able to hit a second springboard Phenomenal Forearm off the top rope. Styles covers Orton and gets the pinfall.

Good match between Styles and Orton tonight, crowd seemed a bit distracted at times, they came alive towards the end, loved the build of both Orton and Styles predicting each others offense #WrestleMania

The Usos (c’s) vs. The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) vs. Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Aleister Black and Ricochet
Lots of quick tags early with Sheamus powering Black down with a rolling senton. Rusev tags himself in as Sheamus eats a kick from Black. Rusev levels Black. Jimmy and Nakamura are now legal. Nakamura knocks Jey off the corner. Ricochet tags himself in and hits a flying elbow drop catching Nakamura from the corner. Cesaro tags himself in. Ricochet flips all around the body of Cesaro. Cesaro plants Ricochet and then boots Rusev. Sheamus with a high knee to Rusev. Sheamus with forearms to the chest of Rusev as Cesaro applies the Cesaro Swing on Ricochet. Sheamus hits the chest of Jey. Sheamus is now hitting the chest of Black. The Cesaro Swing is continuing in the background! Cesaro has the Sharpshooter applied on Ricochet. Jimmy breaks it up as Jey tosses Sheamus over the top rope. Rusev and Black are now legal. Black catches Rusev with a moonsault. Nakamura with knees to the ribs of Black as Rusev hits a suplex. Ricochet breaks it up with a Shooting Star Press! Ricochet gets the tag. Rusev with a swinging side slam planting Ricochet. Ricochet, The Usos, The Bar, Rusev and Nakamura all execute a Tower of Doom spot from the corner. Ricochet ends up landing to avoid the brunt of the landing. Ricochet connects with the 630 over Sheamus. Sheamus levels Ricochet with a Brogue Kick after a series of finisher exchanges. The Usos with a double superkick to Sheamus. Jey and Jimmy go up on opposite corners and hits a double splash over Sheamus to get the win.

Really good and fun fatal four way tag match, they were able to pull off some pretty creative stuff, as much as I hate the Tower of Doom spot (who actually likes that spot still?) it was creative to have Ricochet land it #WrestleMania

The bell rings and Shane immediately runs away from Miz. When Miz catches up, Shane hits him with some lefts and rights and bails again. Shane grabs The Miz’s dad sitting at ringside and Miz goes after him. They end up brawling near the barricade. Shane is throwing kicks to the body of Miz against the ropes. Shane tosses Miz through the ropes into the corner post. On the outside, Shane grabs a monitor and hits Miz in the head with it. Shane is going up top rope. The Miz’s dad jumps the barricade and stands in front of Miz near the announce table. Shane invites Miz’s father inside the ring. Miz’s dad raises his fists and walks towards Shane inside the ring. Shane tells him to hold on and helps him hold his fists at the right height. Shane with a jumping knee to the body of Miz’s dad. Miz jumps in and tackles Shane throwing big left hands. On the outside, Miz sends Shane into the crowd. Miz checks on his father and then leaps over the barricade tackling Shane. Miz sends Shane back first into part of the pillar LED board set. Shane plants Miz with a DDT over a ramp. Miz grabs a chair and hits Shane over the back with it repeatedly near the crowd. Miz is clearing out a section for international commentary. Miz hits Shane with a weapon that sends him flying over a barricade a few feet off the ground! Miz and Shane brawl up to a truss being used for a camera shot. Miz with a Skull Crushing Finale on Shane! Shane lifts himself up to a higher part of the truss. Miz catches up with him near the camera. Shane is faking an injury to his left knee and telling Miz he is sorry. Miz throws lefts at Shane. Miz with a superplex on Shane off the top of the truss crashing through a ramp below! Shane ended up landing on top of Miz. The referee counts the pinfall.

Bret Hart walked out with Natalya and Beth Phoenix to wish them well.
We start with Bayley and Tamina. Tamina overpowers Bayley early. Beth Phoenix jumps in. Sasha Banks also jumps in to help tosses Nia Jax out. Phoenix and Natalya drive Nia into the steel steps at ringside. Bayley and Peyton Royce are now legal as Banks tags herself in. Royce with a side kick catching Banks. The IIconics get in a pose. Billie Kay gets the tag and tosses Banks down. Tag back to Royce. They double team lift up Banks and drop her back. Bayley gets the tag as Banks kicks Royce. Phoenix is in eating a kick from Banks. Kay gets the tag again trying to cover Phoenix. Quick tag back to Royce. The IIconics continue frequent tags. Phoenix with a double suplex on both. Hart Attack by Natalya with help from Phoenix. Bayley breaks up the pinfall attempt. Phoenix drops Bayley. Banks is tossed into Phoenix and drops her down into the Bank Statement. Phoenix rolls through, goes for the Glam Slam and Banks counters out. Tag to Natalya who drops Bayley quickly. Natalya is going for and locks in a double Sharpshooter on Banks and Bayley. Nia is back in and tosses Phoenix away. Double headbutt by Nia and Tamina on Phoenix. Double samoan drop on The IIconics by Nia and Tamina. Nia splashes Banks and Tamina clotheslines Bayley. Banks takes out Natalya and Phoenix with double knees. Bayley with a flying elbow on Phoenix. Banks with a frog splash over Phoenix to follow up. Phoenix with a Glam Slam on Bayley off the second rope! The IIconics break it up. Billie pins Bayley to get the win.

The bell rings and here we go. Loud “KofiMania” chant early in Metlife Stadium. Kofi with a dive early to the outside that catches Bryan. We see a big crowd watching backstage cheering on Kofi. Back inside, Bryan counters a backwards dive by Kofi into a takedown into a surfboard submission. Bryan takes the back of Kofi and drops forearms. Kofi breaks free and connects with a Boom Drop. Kofi attempts a springboard dive on Bryan, but Bryan moves and Kofi lands rib first over the announce table. Bryan drapes Kofi over the top rope and throws kicks. Bryan drops a flying knee over the back of Kofi over the top rope. Bryan with a single leg takedown into the middle turnbuckle on Kofi. Bryan follows that up with a big running dropkick to the corner in the face of Kofi. Bryan hits a second dropkick in the corner. Kofi charges, Bryan counters and gets a Boston Crab applied. Bryan with kicks to Kofi in the corner. Kofi is throwing repeated elbows at Bryan. Kofi with a splash off the top rope over the back of Bryan! Kofi and Bryan are exchanging strikes. Bryan avoids Trouble in Paradise. Kofi rolls up Bryan and Bryan rolls up Kofi in two close pinfalls. Kofi avoids a LeBell Lock attempt by Bryan. Bryan with boots up in the corner that level Kofi. SOS by Kofi. Bryan counters into the LeBell Lock. Bryan is dropping elbows to the ribs of Kofi and keeping it locked in. Kofi is able to reach out and get his foot on the bottom rope. Bryan is throwing repeated kicks at the chest of Kofi. Kofi is on his feet yelling at Bryan to hit him more. Kofi is firing back with kicks of his own. Kofi with a reverse facebuster on Bryan. At ringside, Rowan takes out Xavier Woods and Big E. Trouble in Paradise by Kofi on Rowan. Big E has Rowan up on his shoulder, Woods jumps off the announce table and plants Rowan. Kofi cuts off a suicide dive attempt by Bryan. Kofi misses Trouble in Paradise. Bryan connects with his jumping knee. Kofi kicks out! Bryan can’t believe it. Bryan with some stomps and then gets the LeBell Lock applied again. The crowd is firing up in Metlife. Kofi counters out, but Bryan has the left arm of Kofi. Kofi is dropping bombs. Kofi is now stomping away on Bryan and is fired up. Trouble in Paradise. Kofi gets the pinfall!

After the match, Big E and Xavier Woods jump in the ring and embrace Kofi Kingston. Commentary is screaming that Kofi did it. An emotional Woods reveals the original leather WWE Championship at ringside. They bring it inside the ring and hand it to Kofi.

Joe with a running big boot right away that drops Mysterio. Joe has Mysterio up on his shoulders and Mysterio counters out with a swinging DDT! Mysterio tosses Joe to the ropes. Mysterio connects with a 619. Mysterio comes off the top rope. Joe counters. Joe grabs the neck of Mysterio and applies the rear naked choke. The referee calls it.

Reigns with a samoan drop early on McIntyre. McIntyre fires back with a spinebuster. Reigns catches McIntyre with a boot to the face and then a leg drop over the back of McIntyre’s neck over the ring apron. McIntyre throws right hands when he cuts off a quick attack by Reigns under the bottom rope. McIntyre with a suplex to Reigns over the floor. McIntyre with his reverse Alabama Slam on Reigns. McIntyre has Reigns propped up on the top rope. Reigns with a right hand. McIntyre falls back in the tree of woe. McIntyre lifts himself up and pulls Reigns down off the top rope to the ring below. Reigns with a big boot that launches McIntyre to the outside. Reigns connects with his Drive By jumping dropkick. McIntyre avoids a Superman attempt, but Reigns bounces off the ropes and catches McIntyre with a Superman. Reigns with a spear to McIntyre and gets the pinfall.
Winner: Roman Reigns
After the match, Roman Reigns walks to the corner and bows his head to take a moment. Commentary is putting over his recovery from leukemia on this big stage.
Feel good message for Roman Reigns being able to return to the big stage, however…this felt like the first dud of the night in terms of overall quality, was just a match, nothing exciting #WrestleMania

Elias Performs at WrestleMania
Elias is on the screen introducing himself and playing the drums and piano. He is now sitting in the middle of the ring playing his guitar for Metlife Stadium.
Elias points out his “band” on screen which is him on piano, drums and then guitar live. They play a brief blues-oriented type song for the live audience.
Elias plays along with the “OH OH WALK WITH ELIAS” chant. He is the interrupted by a video playing on the screen focusing on Babe Ruth. It is a highlight of Ruth calling his shot at the plate. Elias is looking around the stadium as the video plays.
John Cena (with his old “Thuganomics” theme playing) walks out. He said Elias got a raw deal because he’s standing in a ring as John Cena is about to turn heel. Cena refers to WWE as “Wasted Wrestling Experience” instead of “Walk With Elias.” Elias is not happy. Cena says Elias won’t get an AA, but he will get an FU. Cena hits Elias using the “Word Life” brass knucks he is wearing. Cena connects with Five Knuckle Shuffle and FU combo.

Triple H vs. Batista
Triple H had a “Mad Max” style entrance tonight.
Batista immediately attacks Triple H when the bell rings. The action spills outside and Batista launches Triple H over the middle announce table. Triple H tackles Batista sending him head first into the side of the ring. Batista tosses Triple H into the timekeepers area. Triple H finds a toolbox and hits Batista with it. Triple H pulls a chain out and whips Batista over the back with it. Triple H starts choking Batista using the chain and then sends him into the steel steps at ringside. Triple H is using big pliers to pull back on the fingers of Batista. Triple H is smiling and then stomped over the pliers. Triple H tosses Batista inside the ring, places a steel chair over his throat and has smaller pliers now. Triple H yells, “That’s a nice nose ring!” Triple H pulls Batista’s nose ring out using the small pliers. Triple H wraps the chain around his hand, jumps off the ring apron, Batista catches him and then drops Triple H over the middle announce table. Batista launches Triple H into the barricade. Triple H with a knee to the face back inside the ring. Batista misses a charge and hits the steel post in the corner. Batista counters hanging Triple H over his back and dropping him down over the mat with a thud. Batista has part of the steel steps and catches Triple H in the head with it. Triple H with a back body drop on Batista dumping him over the middle announce table! The table doesn’t break. When Batista stands back up, Triple H throws a DX crotch chop, charges and spears Batista through another announce table crashing through it at ringside! Triple H has a sledgehammer. Back inside, Batista catches Triple H with a spear. Triple H finds a way to kick out. Batista with a big boot to cut off Triple H using the sledgehammer. Batista plants Triple H with a spinebuster. Batista plants Triple H with the Batista Bomb. Triple H kicks out. Batista is bringing steel steps inside. Triple H powerbombs Batista over the steel steps. Triple H connects with a Pedigree. Batista kicks out during a pinfall attempt. Triple H has the sledgehammer, but Batista cuts him off and hits a big spike DDT over the steel steps.
Both men are down.
Ric Flair shows up at ringside. He is handing Triple H the sledgehammer. Flair is trash talking Batista. Batista has a sledgehammer now. Triple H jumps off the steel steps and hits Batista with his sledgehammer. Triple H hits a Pedigree and gets the pinfall.

Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin
Angle with right hands early. Corbin with a boot. Angle with a belly-to-belly suplex launching Corbin across the ring. Corbin slides out, jumps back in and Angle goes for a waist lock. Corbin bounces the head of Angle off the top rope. Corbin works over Angle in the corner. Corbin with big knees to the body of Angle. Angle with three german suplexes on Corbin. Corbin avoids an Angle Slam and levels Angle with a big boot. Corbin powers out of the ankle lock and catches Angle with Deep Six. Angle gets a shoulder up just after two. Corbin misses a corner charge. Angle Slam. Corbin powers out of the pinfall attempt. Angle with a huge elbow to the head of Corbin. Angle with three more german suplexes. Angle salutes the crowd, goes up top and misses a moonsault when Corbin moves out of the way. Corbin connects with End of Days on Angle and gets the pinfall.
Winner: Baron Corbin
After the match, Kurt Angle said he has had the time of his life the last 20 years. He wants to thank the fans and wants to hear those two words that were part of his career for so long. Angle’s music hits and the crowd chants “YOU SUCK” along with it.

Balor catches Lashley with a spin kick, kick to the back of the head and dropkick in the corner combo. Balor tosses Lashley to the outside and then leaps over catching Lashley. Back inside, Lashley plants Balor with a thud. Lashley with a big suplex from the ring apron over the top rope to Balor. Lashley with a clothesline to Balor over the ring apron. Balor catches Lashley with a Sling Blade and then dropkicks Lashley into the barricade. Lashley with a spear on Balor through the ropes sending Balor to the outside! Back inside, Lashley catches Balor with another spear. Balor kicks out during a pinfall attempt. Balor is kicking Lashley in the face. Balor with an incredible powerbomb on Lashley. Balor goes up top and connects with Coup De Grace. Balor hooks the leg and gets the win.

Charlotte Flair was brought to the stadium in a helicopter circling Metlife Stadium.
Joan Jett played “Bad Reputation” live for Ronda Rousey’s entrance.
Big reaction for Becky Lynch during her walk to the ring.
The bell rings and here we go for tonight’s main event. Rousey goes after Becky immediately with body shots in the corner and a big kick sending Becky out. Rousey with a high kick and body kick to Charlotte. Rousey puts Becky on her shoulder and drives her into the barricade. Rousey does the same to Charlotte, but drives her down on the floor. Becky sends Rousey face first into the ring post. Charlotte dumps Rousey over her head into the barricade at ringside. Charlotte and Becky exchange shots in the middle of the ring. Becky avoids an armbar attempt by Charlotte. Rousey is back in looking for an armbar on Becky. Charlotte has Rousey up on her shoulders. Rousey drops down over the ropes attempting an armbar. Becky with a baseball slide through the legs of Charlotte sending Rousey crashing to the floor. Rousey almost landed on top of her head. Becky avoids a moonsault by Charlotte and gets the armbar locked in. Rousey breaks it up and goes for the armbar of her own. Charlotte catches Rousey with a running knee. Charlotte hits a double Natural Selection on Rousey and Becky. Charlotte is chopping Rousey. Rousey seems to yell that she chops like a bitch. Rousey goes for an armbar on Charlotte. Charlotte counters into a Boston Crab, but Becky breaks it up. Becky with a double DDT on Rousey and Charlotte. Becky catches Charlotte with a kick to the head. Becky with an exploder off the top rope on Charlotte. Rousey with a double armbar on Becky and Charlotte. Becky and Charlotte lift Rousey up and dump her down in a powerbomb. Rousey hangs on, they pick Rousey back up and dump her down for a second powerbomb. Charlotte tosses Becky out and covers Rousey for a two count. Becky rolls through and gets an armbar applied on Rousey. Rousey uses the ropes to lift herself up and dump Becky to the corner. Becky catches Rousey with a knee in the corner and applies an armbar. Charlotte kicks Becky to break it up. Charlotte with a Spanish Fly on Becky off the top rope and gets a close two count. Charlotte launches Rousey across the ring. Becky is dumped to the corner by Charlotte. Charlotte with a boot sending Becky to the floor. Charlotte applies a Figure Four against the steel post on Rousey. Becky breaks it up. Charlotte gets the Figure Four applied on Rousey and bridges into the Figure Eight as Becky jumps off the corner and catches Charlotte! Becky is setting up a table inside the ring. Charlotte is dumped outside the ring. Rousey pushes the table over yelling, “Tables are for bitches!” Rousey tosses Becky. Charlotte with a double spear on Becky and Rousey. Charlotte props the table up in a corner and tosses the face of Rousey into it repeatedly. Charlotte levels Becky with a spear. Charlotte is tossed into the table by Rousey and Becky. Rousey and Becky are exchanging strikes. Rousey has Becky up on her shoulders. Rousey is about to toss her down. When she lands it, Becky shifts her weight and pins Rousey’s shoulders to the mat. Becky gets the pinfall. Rousey is furious.

Commentary (specifically Corey Graves) is trying to argue controversy with the finish regarding Becky Lynch shifting her weight and pinning Ronda Rousey’s shoulders to the mat. They show a series of replays showing Becky getting the pinfall.
