WWE SmackDown kicks off with the Crown Jewel World Championship being entered into the arena by security.

We see clips of last week’s show involving Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso fighting The Bloodline. We see clips of Raw with Jimmy trying to convince Jey to join them but Jey refusing.

The Bloodline and Jey Uso

The Bloodline come to the ring and loud chants of “OTC” from the fans. Solo tells the fans to acknowledge him but they boo. A loud “Solo sucks” chant and Solo tells them they are looking at the present and the future. He says they are looking at The Bloodline and The Tribal Chief.

Solo says he is the man who created a bigger and stronger family. He created a bigtger and stronger Bloodline. He says Roman and Jimmy can’t do anything about it. He says even Jey doesn’t want anything to do with them. The fans chant “Yeeet” and he tells them “No Yeeet”. He says that the beat downs on Roman will continue unless comes down to the ring by the end of the night and acknowledges him.

Jey’s music hits and he shows up in between the fans. He walks down the steps and gets into the ring.

Jey looks at Solo and tells him it has been a minute. He tells him he promises he is not here to fight because he still cares about him and he is his little brother. Jey tells him that Jimmy and Roman are not here yet and he came out to talk to him one on one. He asks Solo to think about what he is doing to the family and The Bloodline.

He says no one has bigger issues with Roman than he does but dividing the family is not it. He left to be his own man, he became Intercontinental Champion. Jey tells him that fighting over the ula fala is not it, that is earned not taken and Solo knows better. But if he wants to end Roman’s power, to do it but not to divide the family while he does it.

Solo asks him if he is done wasting his time. Solo says he is not trying to divide the family, he is trying to unite the family. He tells Jey to stop calling him his little brother, he is his Tribal Chif now and he will always have a place for Jey and Roman in his Bloodline. All he has to do is acknowledge him.

He says he doesn’t want him to follow Jimmy’s footsteps because look where it got him. He asks Jey if he is in or out. Jey tells Solo if he is trying to unite The Bloodline, why did he have to go and get Tama Tonga, Loa and Jacob. Jey says there’s a reason why they stayed away from Jacob and if Jacob keeps looking at him, he will have to knock his ass out. Jacob gets in Jey’s face but Solo stops him.

Jey says next time he sees Solo, it will be different. He tells him yeeet and throws the microphone, leaving the ring.

-Commercial Break-

Triple Threat Tag Team Qualifying Match: The Street Profits with B-Fab vs. Pretty Deadly vs. DIY

Ford, Prince and Ciampa start the match in the ring. Ciampa with a knee onto Ford and Ford to the outside. Prince slaps Ciampa and runs out of the ring. Ciampa chases Prince on the outside and Wilson shoulder tackles Ciampa. All six men get involved and it ends with Pretty Deadly double teaming Ciampa in the ring.

-Commercial Break-

Back from commercial, Ford with a super kick onto Pretty Deadly. He climbs the top rope but Prince trips him up and Wilson is tagged in. Pretty Deadly climb the second rope but Dawkins throws Wilson to the outside. Dawkins lifts Wilson up on his shoulder and Ford with the Doomsday Blockbuster. Ciampa goes for the cover on Wilson and Ford onto Prince and the referee counts to three.

Winners: DIY

The referee tells the ring announcer that Wilson was the legal competitor and DIY are the winners.

-Commercial Break-

Back from commercial, we see Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso step out of an SUV entering the arena. They bump into Jey Uso who is face to face with Roman. Jey begins to walk away but Roman grabs him. He tells Jey that he is proud of him, they all are. Jey tells him no yeeet and walks away.

Roman tells Jimmy “I told you” and walks away.

We cut to Nick Aldis and Nia Jax. She is talking on the phone with Tiffany Stratton and she mentions that Tiffany has the flu and their tag team match is cancelled. Nick tells her that the match is not cancelled. SmackDown has a deep talent roster and for her to find someone else. In comes Candice LeRae. Aldis makes the match and LeRae will be Nia’s tag team partner.

-Commercial Break-

Piper Niven with Chelsea Green vs. Lash Legend with Jakara Jackson

The bell rings and we are under way. A shoulder tackle by Niven takes Jackdown down. Niven goes for a splash but Legend moves out of the way. Legend with a kick to the face followed by a splash. She goes for the cover but Niven kicks out. Legend runs towards Niven but Niven picks her up and slams her. She goes for the cover but Legend kicks out. Niven goes for a cannonball in the corner but Legend moves out of the way. Legend lifts Niven up on her shoulders but Niven lands on her feet. Niven runs to the ropes but Legend body slams her. Chelsea gets on the ring apron and distracts Legend.

Jackson throws Chelsea into the barricade. Niven goes for a splash but Legend moves out of the way. Legend lifts Niven up and slams her face first onto the mat. She goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Lash Legend

Commercial Break-

Back from commercial, Roman Reigns is sitting in his office and Jimmy is next to him. He tells Roman he should talk to Jey and Roman tells him if the wise man was here right now, this would be solved. He says he gave Jimmy a shot and he tried but it is time to do it his way. And he will fix it tonight.

Jimmy asks him how is he going to do it and Roman says he is going to acknowledge Solo.

Cody Rhodes

Cody’s music hits and out he comes to the ring. The Crown Jewel Championship is placed in the ring as Cody makes his entrance.

Cody looks at the Crown Jewel Championship and he says it’s about who is going to be the first one. Many what if’s in the history of the sport. What if the NWA World’s Champion Harley Race faced the WWWF Bruno Sammartino. What if the AWA’s Nick Bockwinkel faced off against Ric Flair. What if WCW’s Bill Goldberg faced off against Stone Cold Steve Austin. He says at Crown Jewel, there will be a definitive Crown Jewel Champion. He says Gunther can chop a tree down with his hand and most men are terrified of Gunther but he isn’t. And even if he was, he wouldn’t bet against himself.

He says to look at the belt. It’s one of the most beautifully designed title belts in the history of the sport but beauty is skin deep. Over the last two years, he and the fans have gotten to know each other. When he came back, he wanted to take the John Cena schedule and they did take it and added to it. But it is almost skin deep. The real reason he thinks he is leaving Crown Jewel as champion is sitting at home right now.

Cody says she is about 3 feet tall and he needs her to know that when his bones turn to dust, his name will be attached to the title as first champion. And his name is the same name given to her and you play the game not to lose but you play to win. He says he would like to invite Gunther to SmackDown next Friday to stand in the ring with him. And he would like to look at him in the eyes and ask him what he wants to talk about. Cody drops the microphone, his music plays and Cody looks at the crowd.

Kevin Owens, Randy Orton and Nick Aldis

A pre-recorded video of Kevin Owens airs. He says he has been in WWE for over 10 years and it is ridiculous that he was told to stay at home because he attacked the golden boy outside of his bus. He says it makes him ask himself how appreciated he is by the company. He says he can’t get over what Randy Orton did to him. Owens says he would never have turned his back on Orton and he can’t believe he picked Cody Rhodes over him.

Owens says with everything happening to him right now, he doesn’t know if or when he can come back to WWE.

We cut to Nick Aldis and in comes Orton. He tells Aldis he needs to get his hands on Owens and he is going to do it at Crown Jewel. Aldis says he is sorry and it is not something he can do right now. It’s not that he won’t, he can’t. Orton says he is not asking for permission. Aldis tells him he is saying he can’t do it because it is coming from up above. Orton tells him that he knows who he needs to talk to and he walks away.

-Commercial Break-

Triple Threat Tag Team Match: A-Town Down Under vs. Los Garza vs. Motor City Machine Guns

The bell rings and we are under way. Garza and Waller go after Chris Sabin but Sabin with elbows to the face. A cross body off the top rope onto both men. Sabin with a tornado DDT onto Waller and both men fall to the outside. Alex Shelley is tagged in and a double baseball slide onto Waller and Garza. Humberto and Theory get in the ring and they are thrown to the outside of the ring. Motor City Machine Guns double team Waller. Alex with an arm bar onto Waller. He runs to the ropes but Waller with a right hand.

-Commercial Break-

Back from commercial, Waller with a clothesline onto Garza on the outside of the ring. Waller runs and rolls into the ring but Alex hits him with a kick. He grabs A-Town Down Under and hits them with a double DDT. Garza grabs Alex but Alex with a jaw breaker. All six men fight in the ring and Theory is tagged in. He hits Garza with a drop kick and he drops Humberto neck first onto his knee. Alex with an atomic drop and Sabin with a clothesline. Alex is tagged in and it’s a splash onto a neck breaker. Alex goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winners: Motor City Machine Guns

Byron is backstage with Andrade and Carmelo Hayes. Both men begin to fight and WWE officials break it up. Nick Aldis gets involved and he tells Carmelo to leave.

-Commercial Break-

Nia Jax and Candice LeRae with Indi Hartwell vs. Naomi and Bayley

The bell rings and we are under way. Nia with right hands and she slams Bayley into the corner. Candice is tagged in but Bayley with a forearm onto Candice followed by a snapmare. Naomi is tagged in and she goes for the cover but Candice is tagged in. Naomi runs towards Candice but Candice trips her up and Nia is tagged back in. Naomi with a right hand but Nia throws her away. SHe goes for the cover but Naomi kicks out. She throws Naomi to the ropes and lands a spine buster. A senton by Nia. She goes for the cover but Naomi kicks out.

-Commercial Break-

Back from commercial, Bayley and LeRae in the ring. Bayley with a sunset flip and LeRae hits the turnbuckle. Bayley goes for the cover but Nia breaks it up. A kick by Naomi onto Nia and she slams Nia head first onto the mat and Nia falls to the outside. Naomi with a suicide dive onto Nia on the outside of the ring. Bayley runs towards Candice who is on the outside but Candice with a right hand. She gets on the ring apron but Bayley trips her up and throws her into the ring. Candice distracts the referee and Indi Hartwell throws Bayley into the ring post. Candice with a moon sault off the second rope. She goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winners: Nia Jax and Candice LeRae

Nia gets in the ring confused but celebrates.

Byron Saxton is backstage with Nick Aldis. He says next week, it’s Carmelo Hayes against Andrade and LA Knight will be the special guest referee. In comes LA Knight, he says that next week, you think you are signing up for a match for the United States title but you’re set up for a factory reset.

Roman’s music hits and out he comes to the ring.

Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline

Back from commercial and Roman Reigns is in the ring. The fans chant “OTC”. He tells the fans, maybe for the last time, to acknowledge him.

Solo’s music hits and out he comes.

Solo gets in the ring and Roman tells him that earlier in the night, Solo told Jey that their family is stronger now. He had told Jey that The Bloodline was stronger now. Roman says he doesn’t see it, he doesn’t see anything that tells him they are better off now. If anything, they are divided and broken. After everything they went through in the spring, everything they lost through the summer. And they stand there divided.

Roman tells Solo that he told his father that he could fix this. All he wants to do is to put them back in the promise land. He wants titles around their waists, pay days coming from the heavens, he wants abbundance, he wants their family to be priority. He asks Solo what he can do to fix thos/

Solo laughs and says all he has to do is acknowledge him. Roman thinks about it and the fans chant “OTC”. Roman looks at Solo and says he acknowledges him. He asks Solo if that makes him feel better and Solo says no. He tells Roman that is not good enough. He needs him to acknowledge him as his Tribal Chuef.

Roman looks at Solo and the fans chant “No”. Solo tells him he needs him to acknowledge him as his Tribal Chief or else. Roman looks at Solo and yells “Or else what”. Solo says he knew it, Roman has never changed. He always wanted the ula fala and since Roman never changed, he will never change either. Solo snaps his fingers and out come The Bloodline holding Jimmy Uso.

Solo goes for a right hand but Roman with right hands and he throws Solo to the outside. In come The Bloodline and he knocks them down. Roman with a clothesline onto Jacob Fatu. Solo gets in the ring and he is hit with a Superman Punch.

Roman grabs the ula fala and as he is about to wear it, Solo hits him with a low blow. The Bloodline stomp on Roman and beat him up in the ring. Jacob Fatu with a jumping DDT. Solo hits Roman with the Samoan Spike. He grabs Roman and hits him with another Samoan Spike. The Bloodline stand in the ring and SmackDown goes off the air.
