It’s only fitting that they come back to the PC, the place they built because it’s their house.
They get into Cole and Triple H’s face and ask where Paige is because she’s late. Cole says Paige has travel issues. Triple H says he’s sick of Cole’s excuses as Sasha says Paige is jeakous just like the entire women’s division.

In terms of the match itself, it wasn't very good. Not having the crowd obviously meant we could hear the wrestlers talking trash and that I enjoyed. Triple H on commentary was actually not bad. It was different and he made some jokes. #SmackDown

We see a clip of two weeks ago where Goldberg came out and was challenged by Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal title.
Roman Reigns interview
Live at the P, Michael Cole welcomes Roman Reigns to the ring. He asks Roman how weird that was. Roman says it was weird but it’s cool to be back in the PC. Cole asks him about his match at Goldberg. Roman says it’s been a crazy year, he’s been blessed, highs and lows. As long as he has his healthy and able to participate the next day, that’s what drives him and it feels good to be back.
Cole says a lot has happened and that people say how Roman has put himself in the WrestleMania main event. Roman says he’s had those critics his entire career. If he can main event smaller shows with 5000 fans, why shouldn’t he be able to main event the biggest show of the year? He says no one has the level of commitment that he has. He says he’s not bowing down to anybody.
Michael Cole says it’s spear vs. spear and Goldberg mentioned how he will bulldoze Roman. Reigns says he has a lot of respect for Goldberg and Goldberg has filled seats. He calls Goldberg an icon but Goldberg is a part timer and there’s no time for that here. He’s a full timer, it’s all he thinks of. He’s been groomed since he was a kid, it’s not about one move. He says he will whoop Goldberg’s ass and take the WWE Universal championship.
Kayla Braxton is backstage and in comes Cesaro. He introduces the new Intercontinental champion, the untouchable, Sami Zayn. In comes Zayn with Nakamura. Braxton introduces Jeff Hardy. In comes Jeff and he says it’s good to be back. He’s feeling as healthy and hungry as ever. He says he’s done a lot of searching for the soul and in comes Corbin. He says things have changed. SmackDown is run by a kin who keeps peasants like Jeff in his place. He says Jeff will walk in a straight line tonight or recite the alphabet backwards. Jeff says he has a big match tonight against him. Jeff leaves as Elias comes in.
Elias says he didn’t forget what Corbin said to him lat week and he wrote a song. Corbin says no. Elias plays the guitar as Corbin walks away.
A great promo by Roman Reigns who addressed his critics. It was short and to the point. #SmackDown

Back in the Performance Center, Michael Cole is back with Triple H. He jokes about how he got demoted and he’s back at ring side. They show images of last Sunday’s Elimination Chamber match involving Drew Gulak and Daniel Bryan. Triple H says that Drew showed he’s a technical master.

In comes Zayn who laughs and how he asked Bryan to join him a while ago but Bryan said no. But now Zayn is champion and Bryan is a shell of his former self and is reduced to asking wrestling tips from a nobody. Bryan says his issue is with Zayn as Cesaro says if he has issues with Zayn, he has issues with him. Bryan says they know where the ring is and to meet him there.
Drew tells Zayn nobody? And walks away.
Cole asks the boss Triple H if that match could happen and Triple H says the match is made.
They air the six team tag team Elimination Chamber match from last Sunday.
The Miz and John Morrison
Back at the PC, it’s Miz and Morrison in the ring. Miz says in their first ever match as a tag team, they won the tag championships. And 13 years later, they are still winning. Triple H takes a black sharpie and draws on Michael Cole’s facial hair as he tells him there’s some gray in it.
A solid match involving Cesaro and Daniel Bryan. Cesaro is one of the best talents this company has, how is he not upper on the card? Also looks like we'll get a Bryan and Gulak tag team. #SmackDown

Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate but Corbin pushes him away. Hardy with a right hand. He runs towards Corbin but Corbin slams Hardy into the mat. He goes for the cover but Hardy kicks out. Jeff climbs the top rope and lands the swanton bomb. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Jeff Hardy
Triple H says he hopes everyone has enjoyed the show.
John Cena’s music hits and out comes the WWE legend. Cena is in the ring with Michael Cole. He’s asked if he’s ever been gone through something like this. Cena says he misses everyone as Cole asks him about The Fiend.
Cena says Fiend blamed his failures on him. Cena mentions how people have told him that he is the reason for their failure and Bray Wyatt is added to that list. And it’s a list of names with potential and potential can be good or dangerous. It can make you lazy and believe your own hype. He asks why Wyatt went on a downhill spiral. It’s because Wyatt got lazy and blamed him.
Wyatt is Wyatt’s own worst enemy. And why doesn’t anyone say that about Cena. But he has suffered monumental setbacks. He lost to The Miz at WrestleMania, RVD, CM Punk, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker. Why after all of these setbacks does no one say Cena is buried? Because they know who he is. If he fails, he puts the blame on no one but himself. He adapts and puts himself back in the fight. There are too many WWE superstars who have wanted to do this their entire life. But when the demand gets heavy,t hey blame everyone else.
Cena says if given the chance, he’ll give them an Attitude Adjustment. We see a clip of two weeks ago from when Cena came back to SmackDown. Cole asks why he antagonized Wyatt. Cena says he said WWE needs to invest in the future and Wyatt is. McIntyre, Ciampa, Velveteen Dream, they are the future. Why do they give a 5th or 6th chance to people like Wyatt. He wants to invest n people who earn it each and every single day.
The reason why he accepted his challenge at WrestleMania is to take him out of the occasion. Cena says the match will end the existence of the most over-privileged WWE superstar in existence, which is what should have happened 6t six years.
Bray Wyatt is laughing as he jumps the barricade. He says he is really glad Cena is there. Even if he is saying mean things about him, it’s good to see him. But Cena is doing great. He’s a big Hollywood star, he still has big muscles, beautiful girlfriends. Most can;’t imagine what it’s like to be John Cena for one day but he has him all wrong.
Wyatt says he’s not sick, Cena is. He knows why Cena came here and he knows why he can’t say no. Wyatt says he doesn’t really think that they think that he cares about the future. Cena cares about Cena. He doesn’t care who he has to smash or bury, he just wants the spotlight. He craves it like an addict Wyatt says. He fiends for it. And six years ago at WrestleMania, he took something from him.
Bray says he thought about it a lot. He says the voices in his head never stopped and something magical happened. One day he stopped fighting the voices and started listening to them. Wyatt says they took his crooked little word and turned it into a majestic fun house. Wyatt says Cena broke him but The Fiend put him back together. And at WrestleMania, it’s going to be a slaughter. Wyatt says Cena doesn’t know it yet but to let him in. Wyatt laughs as SmackDown goes off the air.
A great John Cena promo. Part of what he said felt true. It's time for Wyatt to step it up and he has with this character. I was wondering how they'd get Wyatt on the show and glad they didn't go with him as The Fiend. Solid ending to the #SmackDown with them.
— Wrestleview.com (@wrestleview) March 14, 2020
All things considered, it was not a bad #SmackDown. They tried to continue building some WrestleMania storylines and it kind of worked. You have to give them a pass for this one.
