Smackdown Live kicks off with WWE Champion Daniel Bryan coming down to the ring. Bryan says that last week, he called everyone sheep. The first thing he wanted to do was come out here and apologize. He would like to apologize to the sheep, they don’t deserve to be compared to idiots. They are not the one’s mindlessly destroying the earth with their endless consumption and there is no such thing as carbon footprint. He says the fans are not sheep but parasites.
Daniel Bryan says that the fans take and give nothing in return, especially here in Las Vegas. But he is not surprised because they latched on to the old Daniel Bryan and lived through his success. He says that the old Daniel Bryan is dead and the Yes movement is dead. But just like any parasite, they have moved on to the next fickle field. They all reside on the couch of the house that AJ Styles built. He says he is the WWE champion and not AJ Styles. And at TLC, he will crush AJ Styles and his dream of being WWE champion.
The fans chant no. Daniel says that sometimes we don’t know if they are stupid or if they deliberately pull the wool over their eyes so they don’t have to realize the facts of what is going on. Bryan goes on to insult Las Vegas.
Mustafa Ali’s music hits and he comes out. He presents himself but Daniel Bryan cuts him off. Bryan says he knows who he is but the idiot fans might not. Bryan tells him to enter the ring. Daniel Bryan introduces Mustafa Ali and he is the heart of 205 Live. And he is an incredible performer. Infact, he sees a lot of himself in Mustafa Ali. He tells Ali that he has some advice. They both don’t need to have that match tonight because after the match, the people will not care. They are too consumed with their mindless consumption and the truth is that these fickle people do not deserve this.
Daniel Bryan starts calling the fans fickle. Mustafa Ali asks Daniel Bryan what happened to him. He says Bryan inspired him and made him realize it was possible to become a WWE superstar. And everyone on 205 Live look up to him. He says Bryan was that underdog who would go toe to toe with any giant because he has heart. He asks him what happened and how he keeps talking about the old Daniel Bryan. He tells him that the old Daniel Bryan would want him to fight and that is what he wants. He wants to fight him.
Bryan asks Mustafa Ali what kind of car he drives. Ali tells him he drives an SUV. Bryan calls him a small little man and why would he need to ride in an SUV. Ali says that he has a wife and Daniel Bryan slaps Ali down. Both men begin to fight. Daniel Bryan goes to the outside and Ali jumps off the top rope and onto Daniel.
Not a bad opening segment involving Daniel Bryan and Mustafa Ali. No explanation as to why we are having this match unless it's just to promote 205 Live more. As for the match itself, it could be great but there's no reason why we are having it. #SDLive

That was a main event. A great match and my hat off to both Charlotte Flair and Asuka. I really enjoyed that one. A nice ending as well with Charlotte using the kendo stick. Both women, including Becky, came out looking strong. Their match at TLC could steal the show. #SDLive

Very little wrestling outside of the main event but the build up for TLC was nicely done. Not a bad show by any means but far from being the best. #SDLive
