Backstage, Josh Mathews is with The Rock. He talks about The Shield beating him up on Monday night. The Rock mentions facing adversity before not making the NFL and overcoming the odds. He talks about how his mom got cancer and she wasn’t given a shot to live, but she is still here and watching the main event live tonight in Phoenix. Rock said Punk may not think the fans count, but the WWE Universe inspires him. He said tonight we end 434 days of misery as Team Bring It becomes one all around the world.
