“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

A video kicks off the show hyping up the matches we’ll see on tonight’s Royal Rumble event.

We go live into The Dome at America’s Center. 44,390 fans welcome us to the event. The WrestleMania sign is hanging in the rafters, signifying the goal for the 60 competitors that will participate in the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches.

The WWE Universal Championship match will kick off tonight’s show. The Head of the Table, the WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring.

“Sierra. Hotel. India. Echo. Lima. Delta. Shield.” The Shield’s old music hits, and Seth “Freakin” Rollins makes his entrance walking through the crowd in his old Shield uniform. Roman Reigns can do nothing but shake his head in disgust.

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins

The Usos will be banned from ringside for this match.

Charles Robinson, the greatest referee of all time, will officiate this match. Reigns charges Rollins at the sound of the bell and goes for a waistlock, but Rollins easily slides away. Rollins peppers him with punches to the face, so Reigns tosses him to the corner and starts to club him. Rollins gets away and stomps Reigns down before rolling away and hitting a running forearm. Rollins hits the ropes, avoids a clothesline, and hits Reigns with a Sling Blade. Rollins clotheslines Reigns out of the ring and celebrates. Rollins hits Reigns with a suicide dive and gets in the ring to cheers. Rollins hits the ropes and connects with a second suicide dive!

Rollins gets Reigns in the ring and sizes him up. Rollins goes for a springboard knee, but Reigns uppercuts him out of midair. Reigns goes outside and hits a Drive-By Dropkick. Rollins gets out of the ring to recover. Reigns leaps off the steel steps, but Rollins kicks him in the midsection. Rollins then lifts Reigns up and powerbombs him through the commentary table! Wow!

Rollins gets Reigns in the ring and goes to the top rope. Rollins hits a frog splash and covers for a near fall. Rollins goes back to the top rope and smiles. Rollins sets up and sticks his tongue out before going for a Phoenix Splash. Reigns moves and goes for a Spear, but Rollins kicks him in the face. Rollins twists him around and forearms him in the back of the neck. Rollins hits a Buckle Bomb and connects with the Stomp! Rollins covers, but Reigns just BARELY kicks out! The crowd is stunned!

The crowd chants, “This is awesome!” Rollins sizes Reigns up and charges, but Reigns turns him inside out with a clothesline. Reigns recovers from the beating Rollins has been giving him and unloads on him with forearms to the face. Charles Robinson gets Reigns away from Rollins. Reigns lifts Rollins up and CRUSHES him with a powerbomb for a near fall. Reigns goes back to Rollins and starts to attack him with forearms again, but Rollins counters with a triangle choke submission. Reigns powers up and slams Rollins down to get out of the hold. Reigns shakes his head in fury toward Rollins. Reigns grabs Rollins and sends him shoulder-first into the ring post. Rollins falls to the ringside area. Reigns goes outside and sends Rollins into the barricade and over to the timekeeper’s area. Reigns grabs him and sends him into the steel ring steps.

Reigns gets Rollins in the ring and connects with a Superman Punch for a near fall. Rollins rolls out of the ring to recover. Reigns goes outside and hits Rollins with a Spear on the floor! Reigns gets Rollins in the ring and is fired up! Reigns goes for a Spear, but Rollins counters into a Pedigree for a near fall! Rollins signals for the end and goes for a Stomp, but Reigns counters into a Rock Bottom attempt. Rollins elbows out of it, but Reigns soon hits him with a Spear in the middle of the ring. Rollins is in pain, but he starts to laugh at Reigns. Reigns’ left eye is busted a bit. Rollins wants a fist bump, which was one of the Shield’s signature poses. Reigns gets to his feet and looks infuriated. Reigns has had enough and locks his former partner into the dreaded Guillotine submission. Rollins struggles and pulls himself to the bottom rope. Rollins nearly makes it to the bottom rope, but he appears to pass out. Charles Robinson checks on him, but Rollins gets a hand on the bottom rope. Reigns won’t let go! Charles Robinson starts to count, but Reigns will not let go. The match ends in disqualification.

Winner by Disqualification: Seth “Freakin” Rollins
Roman Reigns remains the WWE Universal Champion

The crowd is livid with this result. Reigns finally lets go and walks around the ring. Reigns goes outside and grabs a steel chair. Rollins comes to in the ring and doesn’t look happy. Reigns unleashes on Rollins with chair shot after chair shot to the spine. This is payback for the chairs to the back Rollins gave him years ago when The Shield broke up. Reigns throws the chair down and walks around the ring. Reigns picks the chair back up and destroys it on Rollins’ spine. Reigns throws it down and walks off with the WWE Universal Championship. The crowd is loudly booing.

WrestleMania is 63 days away.

30-Woman Royal Rumble Match

No. 1: Sasha Banks

No. 2: Melina

Sasha Banks looks happy to be facing Melina. Melina looks emotional to be back with WWE in a match. The bell rings, and the Royal Rumble has begun. Banks does her pose and shouts that she’s the boss around here. Melina yells back at her and poses. Banks blocks a kick and kicks Melina in the face. Banks then dumps Melina over the top rope.

Melina has been eliminated.

Banks does the Melina split in the ring and shows off a bit. The clock starts to count down for our third entrant.

No. 3: Tamina

Banks baseball slides Tamina before she can even enter the ring. Banks goes under the ropes (not an elimination) and hits Tamina with a meteora off the apron. Banks gets Tamina in the ring and tries to toss her over the top rope, but Tamina forearms her away. Tamina sends her into the ropes for a slam, but Banks counters into a bulldog. Banks hits two running knees to the face in the corner and tries to get Tamina over the top rope. Tamina doesn’t leave her feet and head-butts Banks down. The clock counts down again. It’s time for entrant number four.

No. 4: Kelly Kelly

Tamina takes Banks down. Kelly Kelly attacks Tamina, lightly hits the ropes, and hits a head-scissor takeover. Kelly Kelly hits a handspring back elbow on Tamina and dances a bit. Tamina clotheslines her in the back of the head. Banks attacks Tamina and clubs her down. Kelly Kelly attacks Banks and goes for a hurricanrana over the top rope, but Banks pushes her off for the elimination. Kelly Kelly has a rough landing on the floor!

Kelly Kelly has been eliminated.

No. 5: Aliyah

Banks attacks Aliyah as soon as she gets in the ring. Banks lifts her, but Aliyah slides off and hits a Lou Thesz Press. Aliyah punches away at Banks and waves her shirt around. Tamina grabs the shirt and slaps Aliyah with it. Banks attacks Aliyah and goes for an elimination, but Aliyah stays on. Banks dumps her on the apron, but Aliyah forearms her back. Banks takes her down and goes for a suplex, but Aliyah stops it.

No. 6: Liv Morgan

Morgan gets in the ring and dropkicks Aliyah down. Morgan goes after Banks and tries to eliminate her, but Tamina saves Banks for whatever reason. Tamina attacks Morgan, but Morgan boots her back. Morgan hits Tamina with a missile dropkick. Morgan stomps Banks and Aliyah down in the corner. Morgan points at the WrestleMania sign and bows. Aliyah attacks Morgan, but Banks grabs Aliyah and hits the Three Amigos.

No. 7: WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Queen Zelina

Aliyah and Morgan are trying to eliminate Tamina. Queen Zelina runs in and pulls them off Tamina. Banks blocks a kick from Zelina and knees her in the face. Banks goes for the elimination on Zelina, but Tamina stops her. Tamina dumps Banks on the apron, but Zelina knocks her away. Zelina then boots Banks off the apron, eliminating her!

Sasha Banks has been eliminated.

Something is going on in the crowd because there’s a lot of cheering and then booing. Aliyah hangs on as Tamina tries to eliminate her.

No. 8: Bianca Belair

Belair shoulder blocks Morgan and dropkicks Tamina. Tamina reverses a whip to the corner, but Belair avoids her and boots her head into the ring post. Zelina jumps on Belair’s back, but Belair powers her into a delayed vertical suplex position. Belair slams Zelina down and tries to eliminate Morgan. Morgan holds on, so Belair hits a handspring kick on Morgan before hitting a standing moonsault on Tamina. Morgan still holds on.

No. 9: WWE 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke

Reggie escorts Dana Brooke down to the ring. Brooke then sends him to the back. Brooke goes after Aliyah, but Zelina stops her. Brooke lifts Zelina and tries to slam her over the top rope. Tamina pulls Brooke back, but Brooke dropkicks her down. Brooke hits Belair with a handspring back elbow before attacking Morgan. Zelina and Brooke double-team Tamina before turning on each other.

No. 10: Michelle McCool

Tamina has Brooke on the apron. McCool kicks Tamina and kicks Brooke off the apron, but Reggie catches her! McCool hits a Faith Breaker on Zelina and boots Brooke out of midair before actually eliminating her.

Dana Brooke has been eliminated.

Tamina attacks McCool from behind. McCool kicks away at Tamina and chokes her in the corner.

No. 11: Sonya Deville

Sonya Deville comes out wearing a jacket, signifying that she’s still a WWE Official. Deville shakes her head about getting in the ring and joins commentary for the Royal Rumble match. She says when she wants to get in the match, she’ll remove her jacket. Deville says she makes the rules, so this is the rule. In the ring, Belair lifts Tamina onto the top rope and climbs to the second rope to punch away at her. Tamina knocks Belair away and manages to survive.

No. 12: Natalya

Morgan goes right after Natalya, but Natalya knocks her back. Tamina lifts Belair, and Natalya pushes them over the top rope! Tamina is eliminated, but Belair somehow hangs on to the ropes!

Tamina has been eliminated.

No. 13: Cameron

The former Funkadactyl makes her way to the ring. This is TheBomb.com. Cameron takes Morgan down with a hurricanrana before hitting a double knee facebreaker on Zelina. Cameron takes Natalya down. Deville gets up from commentary and removes her jacket. Deville attacks Cameron from behind and puts her on the apron. Cameron is a dear friend of Naomi’s. Naomi is the target of Deville’s ire. Deville eliminates Cameron.

Cameron has been eliminated.

No. 14: Naomi

Naomi makes her way to the ring looks furious. She goes over to her fallen friend Cameron at ringside. Naomi checks on Cameron before getting in the ring. Naomi gets in the ring and brawls with Deville. Naomi dumps the WWE Official on the apron and kicks her in the head. Deville falls to the floor and is eliminated!

Sonya Deville has been eliminated.

Naomi attacks Natalya and tries to eliminate her, but Natalya hangs on.

No. 15: WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Carmella

Natalya has Belair over the top rope, but Belair snakes her way under the bottom rope to prevent the elimination. Carmella doesn’t get in the ring and goes face-to-face with her fiance, Corey Graves. Belair has McCool over the top rope. Natalya tries to help, but McCool hangs on. Peacock decides to die right there, so I had to restart the stream.

No. 16: Rhea Ripley

Ripley declines getting in the ring and runs around to grab Carmella. Carmella was having her face protector put on. Ripley throws Carmella in the ring. Zelina and Carmella immediately double-team Ripley before Natalya hits a clothesline. Ripley powers Carmella and Zelina up and dumps them on the apron. Ripley then dropkicks the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions off the apron for the elimination.

Carmella has been eliminated.
Queen Zelina has been eliminated.

Ripley runs wild on the remaining field left in the ring.

No. 17: SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair

Belair, Morgan, and Naomi have Natalya over the top rope, but Natalya holds on to the middle rope. Flari gets in the ring and clotheslines Ripley before big booting Aliyah. Flair then eliminates Aliyah.

Aliyah has been eliminated.

Flair hits Morgan with a fallaway slam and kips up. Flair ducks a clothesline from Naomi, but Naomi flips through a back suplex attempt. Flair chops away at Naomi’s chest. Naomi goes for a hurricanrana, but Flair counters into a powerbomb attempt. Flair nearly eliminates Naomi, but Naomi does a handstand. Deville returns to ringside and lifts Naomi up. Naomi knows the jig is up. Deville pulls Naomi off the apron to eliminate her!

Naomi has been eliminated.

Morgan, McCool, and Belair go after Flair.

No. 18: Ivory

WWE Hall of Famer Ivory comes out in her Right to Censor attire! Ivory says it’s been a long time, but nothing has changed. It’s hard for her to look at these girls. What she sees are wayward, lost little girls. Ripley stares at Ivory and gets in her face. Ripley lifts Ivory, and she continues to talk! She wants to see women taking care of their families and not looking for Facebook followers! Ripley knocks Ivory off the apron and she screams into the microphone. Ivory shouts, “How dare you!!”

Ivory has been eliminated.

No. 19: Brie Bella

Brie gets in the ring and attacks everyone before starting a “YES” chant. The crowd is going wild. Brie Bella is, of course, married to current AEW star Bryan Danielson, the former Daniel Bryan. Natalya avoids being eliminated by Brie. Natalya tries to eliminate Brie, but Brie manages to hang on. Ripley and Belair lift Flair up for a delayed vertical suplex before putting her on the apron. Flair holds on.

No. 20: Impact Women’s Champion Mickie James

Mickie James comes out to her Impact theme with the Impact Women’s Championship! Incredible! McCool attacks James before she enters the match. McCool gets James in the ring, but James fights back at her. McCool and Mickie had a long-standing rivalry revolving around Mickie’s weight. James eliminates McCool with a hurricanrana over the top rope!

Michelle McCool has been eliminated.

No. 21: Alicia Fox

Fox gets in the ring and dropkicks Morgan before hitting Ripley with a dropkick. Fox hits an axe kick to James before hitting Natalya with a takedown by the hair. Fox dropkicks Natalya. Ripley and Morgan go after Fox. They put Fox on the apron and try to eliminate her, but Fox holds on. Elsewhere in the ring, Flair tries to eliminate Natalya. Natalya hangs on.

No. 22: Nikki A.S.H.

Ripley waits for Nikki to come down the ramp, but Nikki sneaks up from behind through the timekeeper’s area. Nikki tries to blindside Ripley and eliminate her, but Ripley holds on. Ripley furiously gets in the ring and says Nikki has nowhere to run. Nikki runs away through the bottom rope. That is not an elimination. It has to be over the top rope. Flair attacks Ripley from behind and chops the chest. Belair grabs Nikki as she gets in the ring and puts her on the apron. Ripley turns Flair around in the corner and chops the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

No. 23: Summer Rae

Rae goes after Natalya and hits a Lou Thesz Press. Natalya blocks a slap and slaps Summer Rae. That’s a callback to some angle they did on Total Divas back in the day. Summer takes Natalya out with a side spin kick. Flair attacks Summer from behind. Natalya then eliminates Summer Rae.

Summer Rae has been eliminated.

Flair attacks Natalya and tries to eliminate her.

No. 24: Nikki Bella

Nikki attacks Belair and hits a facebuster. Nikki hits Natalya with a facebuster followed by a spinebuster. Nikki poses, and the crowd cheers for the WWE Hall of Famer. Belair attacks Nikki and tries for a suplex, but Brie pulls her sister down. Fox is nearly eliminated. The Bella Twins hit Belair with a double-team flapjack. Fox poses with them… and then Nikki eliminates her.

Alicia Fox has been eliminated.

The Bella Twins go after Morgan, but Morgan hangs on.

No. 25: Sarah Logan

Logan attacks Brie and Nikki. Logan wipes out The Bella Twins. Morgan looks emotional seeing her friend from The Riott Squad back. The Bella Twins attack them. The Bella Twins eliminate Logan. Morgan is dumped over the top rope, but she pulls Nikki over as well. Brie then big boots Morgan to the floor. The Bella Twins call Morgan and Logan losers.

Sarah Logan has been eliminated.
Liv Morgan has been eliminated.

No. 26: Lita

Lita goes after The Bella Twins before hitting Nikki A.S.H. with a suplex. Lita attacks James and sends her to the corner. Lita dumps James onto the apron and hits her with a DDT that eliminates her on the rebound.

Mickie James has been eliminated.

Lita goes face-to-face with Charlotte Flair. Lita blocks a slap, but Flair chops back at her. They go back and forth with punches and chops.

No. 27: Molly Holly

Molly Holly is wearing her superhero gear. Nikki A.S.H. attacks Mighty Molly before she gets in the ring and sends her into the steel steps. Nikki A.S.H. gets Molly in the ring and applies a chin lock. Nikki A.S.H. then eliminates Molly.

Mighty Molly has been eliminated.

Nikki A.S.H. poses in the ring and looks pleased.

No. 28: “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey

“Rowdy” Ronda Rousey comes out to a HUGE ovation.

Rousey takes Nikki A.S.H. down before attacking Nikki. Rousey punches away at Nikki A.S.H. and puts her on the apron. Rousey dumps Nikki on the apron as well. The two Nikkis go after Rousey, but Rousey guillotines them both. Rousey then kicks Nikki A.S.H. off the apron. Nikki begs Rousey off and sidesteps Brie. The Bella Twins argue, so Brie eliminates her sister!

Nikki A.S.H. has been eliminated.
Nikki Bella has been eliminated.

Rousey attacks Brie in the corner and punches away at her.

No. 29: Shotzi

Shotzi hits Ripley and Belair with a double cross-body. Shotzi then kicks Flair in the head. Rousey eliminates Brie from the match.

Brie Bella has been eliminated.

Rousey punches away at Belair in the corner like she’s a heavy bag. Ripley attacks Rousey, but Rousey puts her in the corner. Belair attacks Rousey from behind.

No. 30: Shayna Baszler

Rousey looks at her friend coming to the ring. Baszler viciously attacks the competitors in the ring with punches and suplexes. Baszler turns Lita inside out with a gutwrench slam. Baszler kicks away at Natalya. Rousey smiles and circles the ring around Baszler. Flair attacks Baszler, and Natalya attacks Rousey. Rousey scoops Natalya up and dumps her on the apron. Shotzi attacks Rousey, so Rousey angrily kicks her in the head and throws her over the top rope. Shotzi hangs on, so Rousey punches her to finally eliminate her.

Shotzi has been eliminated.

Rousey sidesteps Belair, and Belair hits Natalya to eliminate her. That doesn’t look like it was planned. Natalya gets in the ring again, and Rousey eliminates her as she should have.

Natalya has been eliminated.

Lita hits Flair with a Twist of Fate in the center of the ring. Lita hits Ripley with a flying hurricanrana. Ripley gets Lita up in the electric chair, but Lita goes to the ropes and knocks her away. Lita goes for her trademark moonsault, but Ripley knocks her to the apron. Lita knocks Ripley back, but Flair big boots her off the apron!

Lita has been eliminated.

Ripley has Rousey in the electric chair. Rousey goes over the top rope, but puts Ripley in a guillotine. Flair pushes Ripley over the top rope to the apron. Ripley sends Rousey ribs-first into the apron. Flair then big boots Ripley to eliminate her!

Rhea Ripley has been eliminated.

Belair goes after Flair, but Flair hangs on. This is the final four: Shayna Baszler, Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Belair. Flair fights off Belair and goes after Rousey. Belair attacks Flair before slamming Baszler down. Belair goes for a handspring moonsault, but Baszler counters into a Kirifuda Clutch attempt. Belair uses the ropes to flip out of it. Belair goes for a KOD on Baszler and puts her over the top rope! Flair then dumps Belair over the top rope!

Shayna Baszler has been eliminated.
Bianca Belair has been eliminated.

The crowd is going WILD. It’s down to SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey! They circle the ring. Rousey is ready to go and looks locked in. Flair goes after her with a big boot, but Rousey sidesteps her and eliminates her! “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey is going to the main event of WrestleMania!

Winner: “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey

“Rowdy” Ronda Rousey gets on the second rope and points at the WrestleMania sign as fireworks go off.

Raw Women’s Championship
Doudrop vs. Becky Lynch (c)

The bell rings, and Doudrop quickly tosses Lynch down. Lynch smirks before going after Doudrop with a side headlock. Doudrop tosses Lynch off, and Lynch stomps the mat in frustration. Lynch applies a waistlock, but Doudrop easily gets out and shoulder blocks her down. Doudrop goes for a splash, but Lynch gets out of the ring to compose herself. Lynch kicks Doudrop in the chest from the apron and goes to the top rope. Lynch goes to the top rope, but Doudrop attacks and slams her down to the canvas. Doudrop continues to attack her and head-butts her. Doudrop goes for a Banzai Drop, but Lynch gets out of the ring.

Lynch tries to pull her out of the ring, but Doudrop kicks her into the barricade. Doudrop gets her in the ring and knocks her back before hitting a senton splash. Lynch gets out of the ring once again to recover. Doudrop goes for a cannonball into the ring steps, but Lynch moves. Doudrop holds her knee in pain despite the replay showing her knee never hit the steps. Lynch attacks Doudrop getting in the ring and stomps away at her. Lynch applies a chin lock. The crowd is dead for this match following the 30-Women Royal Rumble match. Lynch has her down to her knees in a sleeper hold. Doudrop nearly fades away, but she stays conscious. Doudrop fights out of it. Doudrop makes a comeback and scoop slams her before CRUSHING her with a senton splash for a near fall. Lynch counters a move from Doudrop and applies the Dis-Arm-Her. Doudrop tries to fight out, but Lynch goes for a cross arm breaker while kicking her in the face. Doudrop fights up and hits a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall.

Doudrop knocks Lynch to the corner and hits a cannonball for a near fall. Doudrop goes for a Vader Bomb, but Lynch gets the knees up. Lynch goes to the top rope and hits a somersault seated senton (the old Molly-Go-Round), but Doudrop forcibly kicks out. Doudrop goes to the apron, but Lynch snaps her off the top rope. Doudrop grabs Lynch by the hair, but Lynch hangs her out to dry on the top rope. Lynch hits a leg drop off the top rope, and Doudrop falls into the ring. Lynch picks up a near fall. Lynch cannot believe she didn’t put her away yet. Lynch goes for a Manhandle Slam, but Doudrop counters into a Big Ending for a near fall. Doudrop drags Lynch to the corner and goes to the second rope. Lynch gets up and attacks, but Doudrop kicks her away. Lynch quickly chop blocks her and hits a Manhandle Slam off the second rope for the win.

Paul Heyman takes the microphone and calls Lesnar “The Bobby Bashing Beast” and “The Mauler of the All Mighty!”

The bell rings, and this dream match begins. They lock up, and they’re immediately in a stalemate. They give a clean break and pace around the ring like two huge bulls. They go at it again, and Lesnar spins him before easily hitting a German Suplex. Lesnar laughs, and Lashley angrily gets to his feet. Lashley looks unfazed by the suplex. They lock up, and Lashley dumps Lesnar on his head with a German Suplex! Lesnar gets to his feet, grabs the back of his head, and smiles. They circle the ring again, and Lesnar seemingly purposely spikes Lashley on his head with a German Suplex. Lesnar holds on and hits a second German Suplex on Lashley’s neck.

Lashley angrily gets up and has a bloodied bottom lip. Lashley angrily punches away at Lesnar. Lesnar reverses a whip and goes for an F5. Lashley slides off and hits Lesnar with a Spear! Lashley sizes him up and hits a second Spear. The WWE Champion rolls out of the ring to recover. Lashley charges for a Spear on the floor, but he goes through the barricade when Lesnar moves. Lesnar lifts Lashley, but Lashley slides off and sends him into the ring post. Lashley puts Lesnar in the ring and charges, but he hits the turnbuckles when Lesnar sidesteps him. Lesnar grabs Lashley, viciously pulls him out of the corner, and hits a German Suplex. Lesnar grabs him and hits another devastating German Suplex. Lesnar gets to his feet and hits his third German Suplex in a row. Lesnar paces around Lashley, who is lying in a heap on the canvas. Lesnar hits a deliberate fourth German Suplex. Lesnar stomps him and hits a wild fifth German Suplex. Lesnar is in control. Lesnar had a scab on his nose that has broken open now.

Lesnar lifts him for an F5, but Lashley slides off and applies the Hurt Lock! Lesnar looks nervous and looks like he’s fading. Lashley is really cinching it in. Lesnar quickly turns Lashley and slams him into the corner and the referee! The referee is down. Lesnar hits an F5 on Lashley, and Lashley’s legs wipe out the referee. Lesnar covers, but the referee is totally gone.

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns runs down and Spears down the WWE Champion! Reigns looks down at his former special counsel, Paul Heyman, who is clutching the WWE Championship. Reigns extends his hand, and Heyman hands him the WWE Championship! Reigns waits for Lesnar to get to his feet. Lesnar stumbles to his feet, and Reigns cracks him in the skull with the WWE Championship! Paul Heyman walks off with Roman Reigns! A referee runs down to the ring as Lashley covers Lesnar for the win!

The Miz and Maryse vs. Edge and Beth Phoenix

It’ll be Maryse and Beth Phoenix to start the match. Maryse gets out of the ring and runs away. Miz and Beth Phoenix get into a tug of war over Maryse, and Maryse lands on top of her husband. The Miz tags in, and Edge immediately goes after him. Edge does not have to be tagged in if The Miz is tagged in and vice versa. Edge takes it to The Miz until Maryse gets a cheap shot in. Miz then knocks Edge out of the ring. Miz gets Edge in the ring and boots him in the head. Miz starts up the IT Kicks. Miz goes for the roundhouse, but Edge ducks it and rolls him up for a two count. Miz quickly comes back with a Reality Check for another two count. Miz keeps taking it to Edge. Maryse quickly distracts when Edge hints at a comeback. Beth Phoenix angrily gets off the apron and grabs a steel chair. Maryse runs away, so Beth angrily goes back to her corner. Edge sends Miz out of the ring and tags his wife in.

Beth Phoenix takes it to Maryse with some clotheslines before slamming her head off the mat a few times. Phoenix hits a sidewalk slam and covers, but Miz breaks it up. Phoenix approaches Miz and wants to fight him. Miz isn’t taking her seriously. Miz screams at her to get out of the ring because he’s going to kick her husband’s ass. Phoenix picks Miz up and stomps him down in the corner! Maryse hits Phoenix in the back of the neck with the loaded purse and covers for a near fall. Maryse tries again, but Phoenix kicks out again. Maryse punches away at Phoenix and stops when she thinks she broke a nail. Maryse then does her trademark pose before applying a camel clutch. Phoenix fights up and puts Maryse in the electric chair before throwing her off. Phoenix goes for the Glam Slam, but Maryse kicks her in the knee. They then wipe each other out with a double clothesline.

Miz is tagged in, so Edge is also legal. Edge clotheslines Miz twice before hitting a running forearm. Edge hits the Edge-O-Matic for a near fall. Edge goes to the top rope, but Maryse distracts him. Miz attacks Edge on the top rope. Phoenix knocks Maryse off the apron and grabs Miz. Phoenix lifts Miz and hits him with a powerbomb! Edge hits a flying elbow drop off the top rope, a move I can’t recall him ever doing often in his career. Edge covers The Miz for a near fall.

Maryse pulls Beth Phoenix off the apron and sends her into the ring steps. Edge hits a flapjack on The Miz and sets up for a Spear. Maryse grabs the foot, but Edge manages to avoid Miz. Miz leapfrogs Edge and sends him into the turnbuckles. Maryse hits Edge with a flying hurricanrana off the top rope before hitting Phoenix with a French Kiss! What?! Miz hits Edge with a Skull Crushing Finale for a near fall!

Miz and Maryse go for a double-team Skull Crushing Finale on Edge, but Phoenix runs in and hits Maryse with a Spear! Edge and Phoenix then hit Miz with a double Spear! Edge and Phoenix hit stereo (sort of) Glam Slams on Miz and Maryse. Edge covers The Miz for the win!

National Medal of Honor recipient Captain Flo Groberg is at ringside. The crowd gives him a HUGE ovation.

30-Man Royal Rumble Match

No. 1: AJ Styles

No. 2: WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura

These two in the ring are a rematch of what was supposed to be a WrestleMania dream match at WrestleMania 34 in 2018. They also had huge encounters in Japan. Nakamura knees and kicks away at Styles to start the show. Styles avoids a roundhouse, but Nakamura comes back with a rebound kick to the skull. Styles elbows him in the neck a few times and hits the ropes. Nakamura knees him in the midsection and axe kicks him in the neck. Styles avoids another attack and hits a sliding forearm. Styles bounces him in the corner and kicks away at him.

No. 3: Austin Theory

Theory goes after Nakamura and slams him with a back suplex. Theory tries to eliminate Nakamura, but Styles stops him. Styles defeated Theory this past Monday on Raw. Theory attacks Styles and stomps him down. Nakamura attacks Theory from behind and knees him in the ribs. Nakamura goes to eliminate Theory, but he holds on.

No. 4: Robert Roode

Roode gets in the ring and hits a Double-R Spinebuster on Nakamura before hitting one on Theory. Roode shouts in triumph. Roode and Styles go face-to-face and a “TNA” chant breaks out in 2022. Wow. Styles goes after Roode and tries for a Styles Clash, but Roode fights it. Styles tosses Roode over the top rope and hits a strike to eliminate him.

Robert Roode has been eliminated.

Theory attacks Styles from behind. Nakamura grabs Theory and turns him inside out with an inverted suplex. Theory avoids a kick and takes Nakamura down. Theory viciously elbows him.

No. 5: Ridge Holland

Theory and Styles put Nakamura on the apron, but he holds on. Holland takes Theory down and hits him with a double-arm suplex! Styles then knocks Nakamura off the apron to eliminate him!

Shinsuke Nakamura has been eliminated.

Holland slams Styles down and goes back to Theory. Holland uppercuts Theory down, but Styles soon kicks him in the hamstring. Holland is wearing a face mask following a devastating nose injury at WWE Day 1.

No. 6: Montez Ford

Ford charges the ring and tosses Styles over the top rope, but Styles hangs on. Theory goes for Ford, but Ford uses his incredible quickness to get away from him. Ford puts Theory on the apron, and Holland attacks Ford from behind. Ford fights back and hits a leaping enzuigiri on Holland. Ford hits the ropes, but Holland counters him with a powerslam. Holland sends Styles into the ropes and hits a big back body drop.

No. 7: WWE United States Champion Damian Priest

Priest clotheslines Holland down and goes after Styles. Theory attacks Priest and lifts him, but Priest slides off and hits a backbreaker. Styles attacks Priest, but Priest uppercuts him. Styles avoids a spin kick and tries to eliminate Priest. Theory joins in, but Priest fights them off.

No. 8: Sami Zayn

Zayn gets in the ring… and doesn’t go after anyone. Ford goes after Zayn and kicks away at him. Zayn fights back and knocks Ford over the top rope. Ford lands on the apron. Priest and Zayn go at it, and Zayn takes Priest him down with an avalanche.

No. 9: Johnny Knoxville

The Jackass star makes his way to the ring with some of the cast of Jackass Forever. Wee Man is there. I remember him from 20 years ago. Knoxville takes Zayn down and punches away at him before dropping an elbow. Knoxville points at the WrestleMania sign. Styles approaches Knoxville and talks with him a bit. Knoxville absolutely lays in a forearm to the chest on Styles! Knoxville tells Styles to “bring it.” Styles hits Knoxville with potato after potato with his strike combination. Ford then goes to the top rope and crushes Knoxville with a frog splash! Holland lifts Knoxville and puts him on the apron. Zayn then eliminates Knoxville with a Helluva Kick! Styles then dumps Zayn over the top rope!

Johnny Knoxville has been eliminated.
Sami Zayn has been eliminated.

Priest dumps Styles over the top rope, but Styles hangs on.

No. 10: Angelo Dawkins

Dawkins runs down and attacks Priest. Ford and Dawkins grab Priest. The Street Profits nearly eliminate Priest, but Holland stops them. Priest punches Holland down in the corner.

No. 11: Omos

Omos enters his first Royal Rumble match. AJ Styles’ former personal colossus makes his way to the ring with purpose. Omos grabs Theory and viciously takes him down. Dawkins goes after Omos, but Omos easily throws him over the top rope.

Angelo Dawkins has been eliminated.

Ford goes to the top rope and calls attention to Omos. Ford dives, but Omos grabs him by the throat and eliminates him.

Montez Ford has been eliminated.

Theory goes after Omos, but Omos swipes him down with great ease. Styles approaches his former partner and punches him. Omos slings Styles across the ring, and Styles hits the ring post ribs-first. Styles falls to the floor, but isn’t eliminated since he didn’t go over the top rope.

No. 12: Ricochet

Ricochet hits Omos with a missile dropkick, but Omos doesn’t go down. Omos hits Ricochet with a flapjack to kill his momentum. Omos stands on Holland’s throat. Theory goes after Omos, and Ricochet joins in. Omos knocks Theory away and KILLS Ricochet with a chop to the chest. Omos wildly throws Ricochet across the ring.

No. 13: Raw Tag Team Champion Chad Gable

Gable gets into the ring and tries to get the remaining competitors to get on board with his plan to eliminate Omos. Gable sends Priest, the biggest man in the match aside from Omos, after Omos. Priest takes it to Omos, but Omos easily takes him down. Omos then eliminates the WWE United States Champion!

Damian Priest has been eliminated.

The remaining competitors go after Omos and try to eliminate him.

No. 14: Dominik Mysterio

Dominik joins in the fray to eliminate Omos. Styles hits the ropes and strikes Omos to give him the final push over the top rope! Gable shouts that he is a genius.

Omos has been eliminated.

After joining forces, the competitors all go after each other once again.

No. 15: Happy Corbin

Corbin immediately goes after Dominik, who eliminated him from the Royal Rumble previously. Corbin hits Theory with a chokeslam. Ricochet hits Corbin with a dropkick and does a backflip. Ricochet goes for a springboard, but Corbin pushes him over the top rope to eliminate him.

Ricochet has been eliminated.

Styles goes after Corbin, but Corbin soon floors him with a right hand.

No. 16: Dolph Ziggler

This is Dolph Ziggler’s 15th Royal Rumble, which is second all-time to WWE Hall of Famer Kane. Ziggler superkicks Corbin and punches away at him. Corbin head-butts him down. Corbin attacks Dominik, but Dominik knocks him back. Dominik goes to the top rope, but leaps over Corbin. Corbin hits Dominik with a Deep Six and eliminates the son of the legend.

Dominik Mysterio has been eliminated.

Theory is on the apron and tries to suplex Styles out of the ring. Styles fights it and kicks Theory in the head to eliminate him!

Austin Theory has been eliminated.

No. 17: Sheamus

As Sheamus makes his entrance, Styles attacks Holland and kicks him over the top rope! Sheamus is not happy.

Ridge Holland has been eliminated.

Sheamus gets in the ring and makes a beeline for Styles. Sheamus attacks Styles and viciously knees him in the face. Gable goes after Sheamus, but Sheamus hits him with an Irish Curse Backbreaker. Sheamus gets Styles on the apron and hits the 10 Beats of the Bodhran.

No. 18: Rick Boogs

Boogs lifts Gable and easily ragdolls him a few times. Boogs powers Gable up and puts him on the top rope. Gable knocks him back and goes for a cross arm breaker over the top rope. Boogs curls Gable up and takes him down in the ring. Boogs military presses Gable over his head WITH ONE HAND! Boogs throws Gable over the top rope!

Chad Gable has been eliminated.

No. 19: Madcap Moss

Corbin and Moss go after Sheamus, but Sheamus fights them off. Boogs military presses Ziggler up and presses him a few times. Boogs tries to throw Ziggler over the top rope, but Ziggler hangs on. Styles hits Corbin with an enzuigiri. Styles knocks Moss back and tries for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Corbin hits a chokeslam backbreaker. Moss then throws Styles over the top rope! Madcap Moss has eliminated AJ Styles!

AJ Styles has been eliminated.

No. 20: Riddle

Riddle gets in the ring, but he’s quickly taken down. Corbin and Moss attack Boogs and eliminate him.

Rick Boogs has been eliminated.

No. 21: Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is back after Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss injured his neck at WWE Day 1. McIntyre takes Riddle down and hits Ziggler with a Glasgow Kiss. Corbin and Moss go after him, but McIntyre fights them off and eliminates Moss followed by Corbin!

Madcap Moss has been eliminated.
Happy Corbin has been eliminated.

McIntyre goes outside the ring and attacks Corbin and Moss. McIntyre picks up the steel steps and hits Corbin and Moss with them! McIntyre then hits Moss with a release suplex on the bottom half of the steel steps! Wow!

No. 22: Kevin Owens

Owens and McIntyre get into a hockey brawl at ringside. McIntyre drives him into the apron and puts him in the ring. Owens hits McIntyre with a Pop-up Powerbomb as he gets in the ring. Owens hits Ziggler with a cannonball in the corner. Owens shouts that this is his show. Owens goes after Sheamus, who was punching away at Riddle. Owens stomps on Riddle’s barefoot a few times before kicking him in the chest. The clock counts down. No way they’re doing the usual time between entrances. That’s usually the case, but these times are super quick.

No. 23: Rey Mysterio

Mysterio hits Owens with a head-scissor before hitting Sheamus with a springboard cross-body block. Mysterio winds up on Riddle’s shoulders and goes for a hurricanrana over the top rope, but Riddle hangs on. Owens attacks Mysterio and hits him with a Stunner. Owens goes after McIntyre. McIntyre and Sheamus take turns punching away at Owens. Ziggler nearly eliminates Riddle, but he stays in it.

No. 24: Kofi Kingston

Kingston goes after Owens, but Owens attacks him. Kingston gets on the top rope, but Owens knocks him off. Kingston lands on the barricade ribs-first (a terrible thing to begin with) and tries to do one of his trademark spectacular non-eliminations, but gravity takes his feet and puts them on the floor. The one referee in full view says they didn’t hit, but replays show they did and the spot is abandoned. Oh well. Everyone wastes time until the clock counts down again.

Kofi Kingston has been eliminated.

No. 25: Raw Tag Team Champion Otis

Otis gets in the ring and tosses Riddle across the ring. Otis takes it to some people, but he’s soon taken down.

No. 26: Big E

Big E takes Owens down and hits Riddle with a belly-to-belly suplex. Big E hits the ropes and hits a big splash. Big E dances until Sheamus gives him a Brogue Kick. Mysterio goes after Sheamus, but Sheamus takes him down.

No. 27: Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny hits Sheamus with a top rope diving cross-body block. Bunny avoids a Stunner from Owens and hits a head-scissor takeover. Riddle tries to make friends with Bunny, but Bunny attacks him and hits a Canadian Destroyer! Wow! Sheamus attacks Bunny from behind and sends him over the top rope. Sheamus goes for a Brogue Kick on Bunny, but Bunny pulls the top rope down to eliminate him!

Sheamus has been eliminated.

Sheamus is infuriated! Ziggler attacks Bunny, but Bunny fights him off. Mysterio hits Ziggler with a head-scissor. Mysterio checks on Bunny. Bunny puts Ziggler into the ropes, and Mysterio hits him with a 619. Bunny then eliminates Ziggler!

Dolph Ziggler has been eliminated.

Bunny shakes hands with Mysterio before trying to turn on him and send him over the top rope! Mysterio hangs on. Owens hits Bunny with a Stunner. Otis then eliminates Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio has been eliminated.

No. 28: Shane McMahon

McMahon goes after his old rival Kevin Owens and punches away at him. McMahon then eliminates Owens!

Kevin Owens has been eliminated.

McIntyre goes face-to-face with McMahon and tries to eliminate him. McMahon manages to hang on. Big E and Otis go after Riddle.

No. 29: Randy Orton

Orton gets in the ring and hits Big E with an RKO. Orton and Riddle work together to eliminate the former WWE Champion.

Big E has been eliminated.

Otis goes after them, but Orton hits him with an RKO. Riddle jumps off Otis’ spine to hit McIntyre with an RKO! RK-Bro then eliminates Otis from the match!

Otis has been eliminated.

No. 30: Brock Lesnar

The former WWE Champion makes his way to the ring looking FURIOUS! Bad Bunny looks quite worried. Lesnar takes McMahon down and hits Orton with a belly-to-belly suplex. Lesnar takes Riddle down and clotheslines Orton over the top rope.

Randy Orton has been eliminated.

Bad Bunny goes face-to-face with Brock Lesnar! Lesnar lifts the music superstar up and hits him with an F5! Lesnar then eliminates him!

Bad Bunny has been eliminated.

Lesnar hits McMahon with a belly-to-belly suplex. Lesnar catches Riddle and slams him over the top rope!

Riddle has been eliminated.

Lesnar tries to eliminate McMahon, but McMahon doesn’t go over the top rope. Lesnar backs up and hits him with a clothesline over the top rope.

Shane McMahon has been eliminated.

It’s down to Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre. McIntyre famously eliminated Lesnar from the Royal Rumble in 2020 en route to victory. Lesnar lifts McIntyre, but he slides off. Lesnar sidesteps a Claymore Kick and hits McIntyre with an F5 over the top rope to win the match!

Winner: Brock Lesnar

It’s been 19 years since Lesnar’s last Royal Rumble victory in 2003. Lesnar celebrates and fireworks go off!
