WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn makes his way to the ring to a huge ovation. Sami Zayn will defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable and “Big” Bronson Reed in a Triple Threat Match this Saturday.

Zayn stands in the ring and listens to a loud “Sami” chant. Zayn is pumped up and welcomes everyone to Monday Night Raw. We are five days away from King and Queen of the Ring, live from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He finds himself in a Triple Threat Match against “Big” Bronson Reed and Chad Gable for his Intercontinental Championship. Zayn was asked why he was putting his title up in a Triple Threat where the champion is at a disadvantage. He can lose the title without being pinned or submitted. Zayn has two different issues and wants to deal with them together. On the one hand, there is a very personal issue with Chad Gable. You don’t German Suplex a man out of his wife’s arms in his hometown in front of his 78-year-old father and not expect anything to happen. Gable has an ass-kicking coming. As for Bronson Reed, it’s not personal. Reed doesn’t care about Zayn’s family or Chad Gable. He just wants the title.

This is an interesting match. It’s a fight between the mind, the body, and the soul. The mind is Chad Gable, one of the most manipulative, crafty superstars of all time. The body is the strength and unmatched brute force of Bronson Reed. The soul is Sami Zayn. If he’s putting his money on either mind, body, or soul, he’s taking soul every time. That soul is why he’s holding the title. That’s why he was able to beat the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time at WrestleMania. That’s why at King and Queen of the Ring, he’ll still walk out as the Intercontinental Champion.

Chad Gable, flanked by Maxxine Dupri, Otis, and Akira Tozawa, comes out. Gable cannot believe he was called manipulative. Did he manipulate Zayn into beating Gunther at WrestleMania? No, he coached him into winning the title. Gable says he is too damn nice. Gable has been too nice to Zayn and too nice to the three clowns behind him. Take Maxxine, for example. She should be in Saudi Arabia on Saturday in the Finals of the Queen of the Ring, but she blew the opportunity. Gable calls her a failure. As for Tozawa, he did 0% of the damage Gable asked him to do against Bronson Reed. Failure! That brings him to Otis. An “Otis” chant loudly picks up. Last week against Sami Zayn, Otis proved once again why he is the biggest disappointment on the planet.

Zayn says he’s heard enough from Gable. Zayn has a question, but not for Gable. It’s for the Alpha Academy. How much longer are they going to deal with Gable’s crap? Gable tells Zayn not to talk to the Academy. Zayn is just trying to drive a wedge. His journey is to reestablish respect for the Alpha Academy. Gable is sick and tired of listening to Zayn talk about his heart and soul. In Saudi Arabia, he doesn’t have to pin Zayn to win the championship, but he’s going to pin him. A “You suck” chant picks up. Gable says he’s taking Zayn’s soul.

Zayn says Saudi Arabia isn’t for another five days. Tonight, they’re in Greensboro, North Carolina. Last he checked, they’re scheduled for a one-on-one competition tonight. Zayn and Gable are dressed and ready to go. Let’s do this right here and now. Gable obliges.

Otis balls up his fist and looks at it. Otis nearly pulls the trigger, but he holds himself back. Gable is furious. Gable gets Zayn in the ring and gets in Otis’s face. Gable connects with a STIFF slap to Otis’s face. Otis is not happy.

Gable grabs the Intercontinental Championship and gets in the ring. Zayn quickly catches Gable with an exploder into the turnbuckles. Zayn backs up to the corner to set up for a Helluva Kick, but Otis pops up on the apron and hits Zayn with a lariat! Gable is pleased as he charges and hits Zayn with Chaos Theory for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: Chad Gable

Chad Gable celebrates in the center of the ring. Otis is clearly not pleased with his actions. Gable then stands in front of Otis to make sure he has all the spotlight.

Michael Cole and Pat McAfee discuss the strange QR codes that have been appearing on screens in the last month.

Locker Room Segment

WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn is deep in thought in the locker room. “Big” Bronson Reed walks up to him. Reed tells him not to worry about Chad Gable and his mind games. Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch addresses Liv Morgan

Women’s World Champion “The Man” Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring. She’ll put the Women’s World Championship on the line this Saturday against Liv Morgan. A “Becky” chant picks up. Lynch shouts, “The Man has come around to Greensboro, North Carolina.” In five days, she’ll defend her title against Liv Morgan at King and Queen of the Ring. They have a lot of history together. They’ve fought side by side, in honor and bad blood. In all the times they’ve fought, Morgan has never beaten her. Now, they are dealing with a very different Liv Morgan. Morgan is hellbent on revenge. She’s hitting people from behind and bailing on fights. Morgan thinks this strategy will be what it takes to beat her.

Liv Morgan’s music interrupts. Morgan walks out to the stage. The way Lynch is gaslighting the WWE Universe is insane. Lynch punched her in the face last week, so she retaliates and is now the bad guy? Then, Damage CTRL came out to attack Lynch, so she left because it had nothing to do with her. That makes her scared to fight? Morgan barely cares about the other women and Lynch. All she cares about is completing the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour. Lynch laughs into the microphone. Lynch commends her on finding purpose after ten years. Lynch has known her purpose since she was fifteen years old. She wrote a New York Times Bestselling Book about her purpose. She wanted equality, to change the game, break glass ceilings, and main event WrestleManias. After 22 years, her purpose remains the same: she wants to leave this place better than she found it. Morgan’s purpose is revenge. If she gets it, what happens next?

Morgan says Lynch is delusional. Lynch hasn’t done all of the things she thinks she has. Lynch is the most selfish person in this company. Lynch doesn’t care about the fans or the company. All Lynch has ever cared about is herself. If the people can’t hear her, it’s because they have their heads up Lynch’s ass. Morgan thanks Lynch for asking her about something other than herself. After ten long, hard years in WWE, she’ll finally sit where she belongs, at the top of the division as the new Women’s World Champion.

Lynch is not happy she brought the people into this. Morgan cannot trick the people. They know she gives her best, and her body is on the line for them. They are all here. Lynch is looking for a fight. If Morgan thinks she’s worthy of being the champion, then she should come down here and fight her. Morgan heads to the ring before backing up. Morgan cackles into the microphone. Morgan says Lynch looks stupid. Morgan is going to do the smart thing and wait for Saturday. Then she’ll fight her and become the new Women’s World Champion. Morgan says, “Cry about it.”

The people want Drew McIntyre, so he’ll give it to them. Let’s talk about that paper champion Damian Priest. Priest cannot run over him, but he got his World Title rematch.
