“Then. Now. Forever. Together.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

“THIS IS MY BRUTALITY!”

Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley makes her way to the ring alongside NXT North American Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. Ripley welcomes everyone to Monday Night Raw, the show that the Judgment Day runs. They have proved it every week. It’s not just a saying. They’ve taken care of every single Superstar that has stood in their way. Last week, Damian Priest absolutely shattered Cody Rhodes’s ankle. That’s just the beginning. Tonight, her “Dirty” Dom, her Latino Heat, is going to put down Ricochet and remind him not to disrespect the Judgment Day. Then we have JD McDonagh, who is going to remind Seth “Freakin” Rollins exactly what it feels like to be an enemy of the Judgment Day.

As for Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre, they’ve got some decisions to make. Whichever one decides to make the right deal with the Judgment Day will determine who is walking out of Crown Jewel as a loser like the rest of the people or the World Heavyweight Champion. Speaking of Crown Jewel, she’ll be stepping into the ring with four of the baddest women in WWE. For her, that’s just another opportunity to prove to everyone who is the most dominant woman in the WWE. She’ll prove why Mami is always on top.

Sami Zayn’s music hits to interrupt the Eradicator of the Judgment Day. A loud “Sami” chant picks up. Zayn says he knows he wasn’t invited out here, but he’s sick of hearing her talk about the power of the Judgment Day and how they have all the championships. He’s tired of hearing about how the Judgment Day runs Monday Night Raw. Zayn is going to tell her something about him as if they don’t know from fighting him for the last six months. Zayn’s entire career has seen him fight people who think like the Judgment Day and think all that matters is power. They think they can do whatever they want in the name of power. If that’s the name of their game, that’s fine. They need to understand that his game is rebellion and resistance. It doesn’t matter if he has to fight them all by himself, as long as there is a breath of air in his body, he will fight! Zayn is FIRED UP. Another “Sami” chant picks up. Zayn will fight the Judgment Day and everything they stand for until the Judgment Day is no more.

Ripley cackles into the microphone. She says it’s hilarious that he can resist all he wants… it doesn’t matter. They don’t need the numbers when it comes to him. If management says it’s okay, he can go one-on-one against Damian Priest. Mysterio starts to talk, but the crowd viciously boos him. Mysterio says they should teach Zayn a lesson right now.

The three square off against Zayn, but Ricochet runs down to help out. Ripley backs Mysterio and McDonagh off. The Judgment Day leaves the ring without incident. McDonagh charges Ricochet, but Ricochet easily sends him over the top rope. Mysterio goes for a cheap shot, but he falls to his rear end when Ricochet turns on him.

Miz TV w/ Special Guest WWE Intercontinental Champion “The Ring General” Gunther

The Miz is in the ring, which has carved pumpkins on a table ahead of Halloween tomorrow. Miz welcomes everyone to Miz TV. Since the announcement of Bash in Berlin, he wanted to get the biggest superstar he could. Making his WWE talk show debut, Gunther… only Gunther doesn’t come out. Miz tries again to no avail. Miz wonders if he needs to say it in German.

Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci of Imperium walk out. Kaiser says the Ring General isn’t coming out just because Miz wants him to. Miz is everything that is wrong with the WWE Universe today. Miz embodies everything they despise. He is nothing but a clown. Miz says he’s been called a lot of things, but he’s never been a sidekick. That makes Vinci the third wheel. Vinci says Miz was a sidekick to Maryse on Total Divas. Miz makes fun of the fact that Vinci never talks. Miz corrects him that it was Miz & Mrs, and Vinci should be happy to be yelled at by someone as hot as Maryse. Instead, he’s yelled at by Kaiser. Vinci goes to give a rebuttal, but Kaiser cuts him off and says he only talks when he is told by him.

WWE Intercontinental Champion “The Ring General” Gunther finally comes to the ring. Gunther says he is not Miz’s guest. He is here to make some things clear to Miz. First, it’s 2023, and he’s still doing talk shows? Second, the mat is sacred to him. Everything Miz does in the ring is beneath him. Miz is beneath him. Gunther says he does not respect the Miz. Miz says that was a heck of a way to break the ice, but he’s heard that all before. Miz says he interviewed an invisible John Cena in this ring that was more entertaining than Gunther. Miz is the biggest Superstar that WWE has. Gunther says that’s exactly the issue with the Miz. When the bell rings, it doesn’t matter how entertaining he is. When it gets serious, that’s when it matters what kind of wrestler you are. That’s why Miz is hosting a talk show, and Gunther is the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time.

Miz says he can be serious when he wants to be. He was serious when he beat Randy Orton for his first WWE Championship. He was serious when he beat John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania. He was serious when he won his second WWE Championship a decade later. Miz will say the next part slowly: he was serious when he took that title on Gunther’s shoulder and made it the most relevant title in WWE. He’d have no problem doing it again.

Gunther laughs and asks if Miz is serious. Gunther says Miz is one of the greatest sports entertainers in history. He’s all about creating memorable moments. They can make a Miz TV moment he’ll never forget. Kaiser takes one of the pumpkin decorations and smashes it. Gunther asks if Miz will do something about it. Kaiser throws a chair out of the ring. Miz attacks Kaiser and Vinci before Gunther chops him down. Gunther stands over Miz. Gunther says Miz is not in his league. Miz looks fired up. Pearce will give him a chance at a title match against someone else looking for an opportunity. Bronson Reed walks in. Miz quietly says that Reed already lost his opportunity, but Pearce shrugs. He’s graciously agreed to beat the bejesus out of the Judgment Day’s bad boy JD McDonagh tonight. He’ll do that in preparation for this Saturday night at Crown Jewel. It’ll be Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Championship. He’s a fan of McIntyre, so he’ll say this as respectfully as he can. After hearing what McIntyre said a few minutes ago… “Boo freakin’ hoo you big Scottish baby.” Everyone was suffering in 2020. People had it a lot worse than McIntyre. They didn’t know when they’d get their next paycheck, groceries, or their loved ones. Some never got to. Sorry if Rollins doesn’t feel sorry that he didn’t win the WWE Championship the way he dreamt it.

Rhodes clears the commentary table and pulls Priest up. JD McDonagh runs down and pulls Priest away before sending him away. Zayn then gives McDonagh a Helluva Kick! Rhodes tells Zayn to bring him McDonagh. Rhodes gives McDonagh the Cross Rhodes on the commentary table!

Rhodes grabs a microphone, but he drops it. The crowd chants, “One more time!” Rhodes gets back on the table and hits McDonagh with another Cross Rhodes on the table!

Rhodes picks the microphone up, and the crowd is chanting his name. Rhodes gets in the ring. Priest is standing on the stage and shouting at Rhodes. Rhodes says Priest tried to take him out, but he was unsuccessful. Rhodes got back up, which is what his story is. What is Priest’s story? Priest is within a whisper of immortality with his briefcase, yet he’s not the leader of the Judgment Day. Priest walks behind Bálor, Ripley, and even Dominik Mysterio. When you think it’s somebody else, it’s always Cody Rhodes. Rhodes is back on his path. This Saturday at Crown Jewel, his path goes straight through Priest!
