WWE Raw kicks off with Jey Uso coming out to a loud pop from the crowd.

He gets in the ring with the fans chanting “Uso”. He tells them that “Main Event Jey Uso is now in your city” and how it feels good to be out of the Bloodline and to be on Raw. Kevin’s music hits and out comes Kevin Owens to the ring.

Owens gets in the ring and he tells Jey that Jey Uso is now on the Kevin Owens show. He tells Jey that he knows exactly what Jey is going through. He did a lot of bad things to a lot of good people and he found himself feeling like he needed to make a change. It took him a while to earn people’s respect and trust. Several people still don’t respect or trust him. He knows and understands but McIntyre and Riddle that’s just two of a lot of people in the locker room that don’t want him here. Lots of people told him that they don’t want Jey on Raw. It won’t be easy. He says Cody seems to be willing to give him a chance. And last week even Sami Zayn welcomed him back with open arms. But that’s it, if he wants to earn people’s trust and respect, as far as he is concerned, he has a long way to go to earn his trust and respect. And to prove to him that he isn’t the same scumbag that was running with the Bloodline.

Out come the Judgment Day. Balor tells Jey that the entire Judgment Day respects him. Priest tells Owens that he doesn’t speak for the locker room and especially not the Judgment Day because they are the one’s that run the show. He tells Jey he understands if he will need some time to make up his time but the Judgment Day door is always open to him, he just needs to walk through it.

Priest mentions how Dominik said no a thousand times but at the end of the day, he is his best version and a Champion. Dominik tries to speak but the fans boo. We can’t hear Dominik but Priest begins to talk. He mentions how they thought that they had a match against Owens and Zayn. Owens says that Zayn isn’t there but it doesn’t matter because he will fight all three of them. Jey tells Owens not to worry about Zayn because he is here too. He asks Owens to have a tag team match, he and Owens against the Judgment Day. Owens looks conflicted and says to do it. Jey super kicks Dominik and they beat up the Judgment Day as we cut to a commercial break.

Miz grabs the lifeless Tozawa and hits a second Skull Crushing Finale. Miz pulls him to his feet, shouts, “M-I-Z,” to which the crowd responds, “YEAH,” and hits a third Skull Crushing Finale for the decisive victory.

Winner by Pinfall: The Miz

The Miz will face LA Knight this Friday on SmackDown.

The Miz defeated Akira Tozawa in a squash match, which is rare for Miz. Still, there’s not much from their match at #WWEPayback that makes me want to see him face LA Knight again on Friday. #WWERaw

Byron Saxton is backstage with Raquel Rodriguez. She nearly dethroned The Eradicator until Dominik Mysterio got involved. Now he is banned from ringside. How will she defeat Ripley? Rodriguez puts over the strength of Ripley and how people lose to her from fear before the bell even rings. Rodriguez says she’s not like most people. Dominik won’t be there to help her tonight. Reality is worse than a nightmare. Tonight, Ripley won’t be the tallest, strongest, or angriest woman in the ring. Ripley will get a taste of her own medicine. We’ll see who walks out as Women’s World Champion.

This time, for himself, his career, and his family, Gable swears to God that he is winning that championship. Gable swears to God that his daughter will walk out with a smile on her face.

Gunther is incredulous and asks if he wants another opportunity to drag his family from their home to see him get the biggest beating of his life. Kaiser and Vinci quickly double-team him, and Gunther kicks him. Otis runs down for the save and gets Kaiser and Vinci out of the ring. Gunther clotheslines Otis down. Gable attacks Gunther, but Gunther quickly takes him down. Imperium gets in the ring to attack, but Tommaso Ciampa runs down with a chair and clears them from the ring.

Earlier today, Xavier Woods walked up to Drew McIntyre. Woods is okay with the accidental chair shot, but he’s confused as to why he’s talking trash about Kofi Kingston. McIntyre sighs and says he says what he said. If Kingston has an issue, he can man up and talk to him himself. Woods says he came to McIntyre man-to-man and now he’s disrespecting him. Woods says it must be jealous. Kingston won his World Championship in front of 80,000 screaming bodies. McIntyre won his World Championship in front of nobody at the Performance Center. McIntyre gets in his face and threatens him. If he’s so anxious to get beat up, McIntyre will grant his wish.

Xavier Woods makes his way to the ring.

-Commercial Break-

Then he tried to be the guy that he thought everyone wanted him to be, but that didn’t work. Then he became a Messiah, but it didn’t work. Rollins built a facade to hide from himself and figured out what the people always wanted him to be: himself. That’s why they like him. Not because he’s a good guy or a bad guy, but because he’s Seth “Freakin” Rollins. That’s why they sing his song. The crowd sings his song.

Rollins says it’s beautiful to hear. For the first time in his life, that’s the reason he can go home and look in the mirror. He can look his daughter in the eyes and be proud of his future. Last week, he challenged Shinsuke Nakamura to a match, but he said he wanted to do it on his own time. Even though Nakamura walked out of Payback and Rollins didn’t, the match still took something out of Nakamura. Rollins lays the World Heavyweight Championship in the ring and challenges Nakamura to come out.

Shinsuke Nakamura’s music hits, but he doesn’t come out. We go backstage and see Nakamura viciously beating Ricochet. Nakamura says Rollins has bad timing. Nakamura says he thought Rollins wasn’t medically cleared, so he already fought. He’ll take Rollins’ title, but not tonight.
