“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
A video kicks off the show, highlighting what happened at WWE Elimination Chamber this past Saturday. Bianca Belair will face Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch on the Raw side of things. Bobby Lashley was injured early in the Elimination Chamber and was taken out. Brock Lesnar became the new WWE Champion and will face WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a Winner Take All Match at WrestleMania.
We go live into the Colonial Life Arena, and the Raw commentators welcome us to the show.
WWE Champion Brock Lesnar comes out to a huge ovation. Lesnar celebrates and poses all around ringside. Lesnar is dressed in full cowboy gear. A “Suplex City” chant fires up. Lesnar says it is good to be here and takes off his sweater. Lesnar gets another “Suplex City” chant going. “Your new WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World is in South Carolina,” Lesnar says.
“Ladies and gentlemen…”
Paul Heyman comes out to the stage laughing, and Lesnar does not look happy. The Special Counsel to the WWE Universal Champion is here. Lesnar warns Heyman not to come any closer to the ring. A “You Suck” chant picks up toward Heyman. Heyman says, “The Special Counsel for the Tribal Chief does not suck.” Speaking of which, Heyman wants to say that he is the Special Counsel for the only real Heavyweight Champion in WWE, the “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns. Heyman is not here to be disrespectful to Lesnar. Heyman is here out of love for their 20-year friendship and partnership. Lesnar is so myopic about his WrestleMania match where it’s title vs. title and Winner Take All. There’s a roadblock in that farm boy’s way. Lesnar may not make it to WrestleMania as the WWE Titleholder. For 20 years, Heyman took care of the small details for Lesnar. On Saturday, March 5, Lesnar has to defend the WWE Championship at Madison Square Garden. He won’t make it to WrestleMania as the WWE Champion.
Lesnar says he can still appreciate Heyman even though he’s such a dick. Heyman wants to get something straight, but Lesnar cuts him off. Lesnar thanks Heyman for telling him where he’s supposed to be when he already knows it. Heyman asks if Lesnar knows he has to defend the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley. If Lashley doesn’t pass concussion protocol, Heyman will take care of Lesnar and give a title match worthy of the World’s Most Famous Arena.
Lesnar says he’s doing just fine without Paul Heyman. Lesnar says he knows where Heyman is going to be on Friday night. He’ll be in a ring in Hershey, Pennsylvania, standing next to his little tribal chief demanding acknowledgment. Lesnar asks if Heyman knows where he’s going to be on Friday night. Heyman asks if he’ll be in Saskatchewan. Lesnar says he’ll be at SmackDown introducing them to the new reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World, Brock Lesnar!
Seth “Freakin” Rollins and Kevin Owens are talking backstage when they become irritated by the presence of Kevin Patrick. Patrick asks them about their unclear path to WrestleMania. Owens says they have a path. They are the best tag team on Raw. Owens says they beat RK-Bro two weeks ago. Last week, Seth “Freakin” Rollins beat Randy Orton. Owens says they went to management, and tonight when they win the tag team match, they will be added to the Raw Tag Team Championship in just two weeks. Rollins says that they’ll be Raw Tag Team Champions when they win that match. Owens says the WrestleMania possibilities will be endless. Maybe they’ll challenge The Usos in a Winner Take All match at WrestleMania. Owens says WrestleMania will be stupendous because of them. The idea of him going to WrestleMania with his best friend is so good it’ll make it bearable that WrestleMania is in that hellhole called Dallas, Texas.

The Miz makes his entrance. He’ll host Miz TV next.
-Commercial Break-
The Miz is in the ring for Miz TV. The Miz says the people wish they could have his life and his wife, but they cannot. Since they cannot be him, they look up to people more like them. That’s why they love Rey Mysterio. Despite their physical differences, he’s not much different from The Miz. Rey is everything they despise about him. The people just choose not to see it. Miz says the people are the ones that cannot be trusted. Miz says he’s found a new tag team partner going into WrestleMania. This is someone he can relate to and trust. This person comes from a fighting family. He’s a pioneer… and very dashing. This person is an athlete and celebrity.
Rey Mysterio’s music hits, and he comes out to the stage alongside his son, Dominik Mysterio. Rey says they are not the same. Rey doesn’t know anyone in the back that would partner up with Miz. Everyone in the locker room can’t stand The Miz. Whoever it is that Miz brought here tonight, that person can go right back to where he came from and give his moment at WrestleMania to someone who deserves it. Miz says he knows what’s best for the industry. At their match at Elimination Chamber, it was supposed to be one-on-one, but it felt like a handicap match. Miz didn’t deserve to lose, and Rey didn’t deserve that win. Speaking of people deserving things, does Dominik even deserve a WWE contract? Dominik says his father brought him into this business and sat front row many times. Dominik knows what it takes to be a WWE Superstar. Rey brought him here, but he’ll do whatever it takes to stay here. This is his blood. This is his family. This is his life. This is everything that he knows. If Miz says one more thing about his father, he’ll show him…
Miz asks if he’ll outnumber him and put him in another handicap match. Miz challenges The Mysterios to a match at WrestleMania with him and his mystery partner. Miz will now introduce his new tag team partner… Logan Paul. Paul comes out to boos from the crowd. Paul says he has pool toys bigger than Rey Mysterio. Next week, Priest is volunteering his title in a match against someone of a World Championship caliber. Priest says, “I am Damian Priest, the United States Champion. Who’s going to try to take that from him?” The crowd boos, and Priest drops the microphone.

Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring. Lynch says Belair may be facing her in the main event of WrestleMania, but the only reason she’s able to do it is because she did it first. She took the title from Belair in 26 seconds at SummerSlam. Belair says she actually listened to Lynch because she went to the back of the line. Belair was the sole survivor at Survivor Series and won Elimination Chamber. She’s not a victim. Lynch says that she’s the victim. Lynch was The Man of the people. Lynch came back at SummerSlam to a hero’s welcome, but they turned on her because of Belair. Because they despise her, she despises Belair. Belair saw what she did to Lita at Elimination Chamber.
