The Raw video plays, and we go live into the WWE ThunderDome at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. We see a big pyrotechnics display.
Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. He lost to Keith Lee last night at WWE Payback. Replays are shown of Randy Orton giving WWE Champion Drew McIntyre three Punt Kicks last week on Raw. McIntyre suffered a hairline jaw fracture in the attack.
Tonight, we’ll have three singles matches with the winners facing in a singles match later to determine who will face WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at Clash of Champions. Keith Lee will face Dolph Ziggler, Randy Orton will face Kevin Owens, and Dominik Mysterio, replacing his father, will face Seth Rollins.
https://twitter.com/WWE/status/1300586021273456640?s=20
Randy Orton says last Monday, Drew McIntyre offered him another opportunity at the WWE Championship out of pity. Orton took that as a sign of disrespect, so he kicked him in the skull three times. McIntyre thinks he deserves the WWE Championship, but as far as Orton is concerned the only thing McIntyre deserves is the fractured jaw he gave him. McIntyre deserves to be in pain and sip his meals through a straw. McIntyre said he would kick Orton’s skull off at SummerSlam, but the only one dishing out kicks is “The Legend Killer.” Ask Edge, Christian, Big Show, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, and Drew McIntyre himself.
McIntyre thinks Orton believes he’s entitled. Orton says he is entitled. He should have to face Kevin Owens in a singles match or face anyone in a triple threat to get his rematch at Clash of Champions. Orton is entitled to that match, but he will jump through the hoops, play the game, beat Owens, win the triple threat, and beat McIntyre for the WWE Title at Clash of Champions… if McIntyre can even make it.
McIntyre isn’t healthy enough to be here tonight, but he has it on good authority that McIntyre got together with some old buddies to bond over a shared experience. That experience is Orton kicking them each in the skull. Orton shows a fake photo of everyone Orton has recently Punt Kicked laying together in a hospital bed.
https://twitter.com/WWE/status/1300586710485663744?s=20
Keith Lee interrupts Orton and marches down to the ring. Lee says Orton sounds proud of all the havoc he’s caused over the past few months and is doing his best to forget what happened last night at Payback. Orton is doing his best trying to forget about the fact that he beat him. Lee understands that Orton might be the greatest to ever lace up a pair of boots, but last night Lee gave him no choice but to bask in his glory. With that said, Orton is complaining about championship opportunities that should be handed to him. Lee says things are a little different now because maybe, just maybe, a victory like his last night over a Legend Killer like Orton means that maybe he should get the opportunity at the WWE Championship. Lee says he’s known Drew McIntyre for a long time and considers him a good friend. McIntyre talks about receipts. McIntyre will make good on his word…
Dolph Ziggler all of a sudden attacks Lee from behind. Lee quickly fights him off and turns toward Orton. Ziggler then drops Lee with a spike DDT.

Decent opener to the show. I like that we're guaranteed to have a lot of action on the show tonight with the three singles matches and triple threat announced. Not big on Keith Lee's promo delivery, but they're definitely putting him in big situations. #WWERaw

While I'm not big on Keith Lee's promos yet, in the ring he's really good. This was a nice match against Dolph Ziggler. They're definitely making up for a shaky debut last week on #WWERaw.

Photos are shown of Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship last night at WWE Payback.

WWE official Adam Pearce is backstage with a security force. Pearce says RETRIBUTION ruined last week’s Raw main event. They must do their jobs or they’ll find another group that can.
Charly Caruso introduces Raw Women’s Champion Asuka to the ring. Charly says Asuka has been demanding a new challenger. Is there anyone she has in mind? Asuka laughs and says she’s defeated many great women: Bayley, Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Ruby Riott, and Sasha Banks. Asuka laughs and says it doesn’t matter who is ready for Asuka because Asuka is ready for anything.
Mickie James’ music hits, and she comes out to the stage. James says as a 6-time Women’s Champion, she recognizes greatness when she sees it. Asuka is probably one of the greatest Women’s Champions of all time. James gets in the ring. Out of respect, Asuka should be the first to know that she’s coming for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.
Natalya interrupts, and she comes out with Lana by her side. Natalya asks Mickie James if she really thinks she’s going to jump the line and get an opportunity. She’s had too many chances. Lana says James is stuck in the past. It has nothing to do with age since JLo is 50 and fabulous. James has failed to evolve. She’s got the same gear since 1998. Natalya is with her because she’ll elevate the Women’s Division. Lana says if James wants Natalya, she has to go through her.
Asuka says she’s ready for all three women. Natalya and Lana send James into Asuka and attack both women. Asuka quickly fights back and knocks Natalya out of the ring. James sends Lana to the apron, and Asuka knocks her to the floor with a hip attack.

Yikes — this segment just showcases how weak the #WWERaw Women's Division is. Asuka has run through all of them except Mickie, Natalya, and Lana… Asuka just sharing a ring with any of them diminishes her. Mickie is at least serviceable, but Lana's right… she's the same.
