“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
Roman Reigns’ music hits, and he makes his way to the ring to a big reception. Replays are shown of Reigns’ return to WWE last week and announcing he is in remission. Later that night, Reigns and Seth Rollins saved Dean Ambrose from a beating from Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Elias.
https://twitter.com/totaldivaseps/status/1102736403824291841
The crowd is chanting “Roman,” and Reigns looks moved by it. Reigns waits around and soaks in the love. Reigns says last week in Atlanta was the comeback. This week in Philly we take our yard back. The crowd loudly cheers that. Reigns has had to think about his future and what he wants. What he wants has one man standing in his way. That one man is his brother Seth Rollins. In order for him to get what he wants, he has to address him. Reigns calls out Seth Rollins.
Seth Rollins’ music hits, and he comes out to a big reception from the Philadelphia crowd. Reigns and Rollins hug in the ring. Rollins says he has to say something. Seeing Reigns come out last week and knowing he won his fight was one of the greatest moments of his career. That made Rollins feel like he could do anything. Rollins will take that motivation to WrestleMania and slay the beast. More importantly, he’ll bring the Universal Championship back to Monday Night RAW every single week. With that said, he knows where Reigns’ head is at. Rollins understands what it’s like to vacate a title and never lose it. If there’s anyone out there that deserves an opportunity against Brock Lesnar, it’s Reigns. There are some boos, but then a light “Roman” chant picks up. Reigns says he thought Rollins knew everything, but he’s wrong. While he was gone, one person watched over this place: Seth Rollins. One man kept this place in line and knew what was best. Nobody has more confidence in Rollins than Reigns. Reigns has been in the ring with Lesnar and knows what it takes. Rollins has what it takes. Reigns wishes him luck.
Reigns needs a favor. Rollins says he can have anything. Reigns says he wants the band back together again. Rollins says anything but that. After what Ambrose did and the night he did it, no way. A “Shield” chant breaks out. Reigns wants it, and he asks the crowd if they want it. They loudly cheer. Reigns says he looked at a different perspective while he was out. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Life is short. They’re his brothers. Reigns doesn’t know if Ambrose is coming or going. Reigns wants one more moment with his brothers before they may not be around anymore. Another loud “Shield” chant fires up. Rollins paces around the ring and thinks. Rollins says he put that part of his life behind him, but Reigns is right. Life is too short. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. If Reigns wants The Shield one last time, then he’s in! The crowd is ecstatic. Reigns calls Dean Ambrose out.
https://twitter.com/totaldivaseps/status/1102738786746859520
Dean Ambrose’s music hits, and he comes out to the stage. Ambrose paces around and goes to speak. Before he says anything, Elias attacks him from behind with his guitar! Reigns and Rollins charge up the ramp, but Elias escapes. They help Ambrose up, but he shoves them off and keeps walking to the back alone. Reigns and Rollins look at each other.
https://twitter.com/totaldivaseps/status/1102739692666142720
Awesome way to kick off the show by teasing a Shield reunion. Reigns was really good in this and it's great to see him involved in storylines again. I love the cliffhanger of not hearing what Dean Ambrose was going to say. Good start to the show. #RAW

Video Package: Batista attacks Ric Flair on his 70th birthday and challenges Triple H last week on RAW
Stephanie McMahon is backstage with Michael Che and Colin Jost. They’re the special guest correspondents for WrestleMania. Jost says he’s excited to go to WrestleMania in New York (it’s really in New Jersey). Stephanie explains that WWE is a little different, but Colin Jost thinks he can handle himself.
Triple H’s music hits. He’s going to address Batista’s attack, next.
-Commercial Break-
Triple H is in the ring. They show a video of Batista from his Instagram account. Batista apologizes for not making it to RAW tonight because he just doesn’t want to be there. Batista doesn’t have any other obligations and isn’t afraid of Triple H. Batista doesn’t like Philly. They’re going to play this game by his rules until The Game is over.
"We're going to play this game by my rules until the game's over." @DaveBautista isn't showing up in Philly tonight… #RAW pic.twitter.com/jj4DoECGmI
— WWE (@WWE) March 5, 2019
Triple H says as if he wasn’t mad enough, there’s that message. Last week, he had the opportunity to bring out the biggest legend in the history of wrestling on his 70th birthday. Triple H wasn’t there because of Ric Flair. He was there because of Richard Fleihr. That is the man he traveled up and down the roads with. Fleihr was by his side at his wedding, but he was there for most of Fleihr’s weddings. Triple H was there for the worst of his times, like when he buried his son. Richard Fleihr was a man that a little over a year ago was lying in a hospital bed clinging to life in a coma. During that period of time, every time his phone would ring he had that sense of dread thinking it was someone calling to say he was gone. Triple H is getting emotional. Last week he was here for Richard Fleihr, a man who wasn’t supposed to be alive anymore on his 70th birthday to bring him out for the one thing he loves more than anything in the world: standing in the ring in front of the crowd. Triple H was there last week to walk him to the ring so he could be “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair one more time. It was what he lived for. Triple H couldn’t because of that “piece of…”
Batista wanted his attention. It’s no secret why. Batista cried about it online for years. Batista used to quit every time he didn’t get the reaction he liked. This time Batista couldn’t quit. This time he attacked a 70 year old man who was lucky to be alive. Batista took that one last moment away from Flair. Now he wants to pop up on the screen and go “Bad Guy 101” with him. Triple H mocks Batista knocking the city. Triple H says he doesn’t really care where Batista wants to go or what he wants to do. Triple H will come to his house or invite him to come to his. Triple H will go wherever he is. He will come and be waiting for him. Triple H yells, “Have some balls! Show up!” Triple H wants Batista to know this. For every drive down that road and every moment they had, even with Flair, when Batista steps in front of him, it’s not The Game. It’s not something they’re selling. This isn’t the name on the marquee. They know Triple H. When Batista steps in the ring, he’s not looking at the character. He’s looking at the man behind the character. Triple H tells Batista to stand up to him and tell him what he wants. If Batista wants Triple H’s attention, he got it! Triple H throws the microphone down and walks off.
https://twitter.com/totaldivaseps/status/1102752741649272832
Awesome promo from Triple H. Chock full of emotion. That got me so pumped for a #WrestleMania match with him and Batista. Loved the background and using the real names. Great stuff. #RAW

She’s inviting Becky Lynch tonight to sign a hold harmless agreement stating WWE is not responsible if something happens to her at Fastlane. Lynch will go one-on-one with Charlotte Flair for the currently vacant RAW Women’s Championship!
Heavy Machinery make their way to the ring. They’ll be in action, next.

We’ll take a look at the newest inductee into the Hall of Fame: Class of 2019 Torrie Wilson, next.
-Commercial Break-
Triple H and Batista will go face-to-face next week on RAW.
Colin Jost and Michael Che are walking backstage. Jost is not up to date with his WWE knowledge, and Che is letting him know it. They walk by EC3 doing nothing and then bump into Titus O’Neil. He takes a picture with Michael Che. No Way Jose and his conga line then dance by them.
Video Package: Torrie Wilson is being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame: Class of 2019
Charly Caruso is backstage with Charlotte Flair. Flair talks about the arrogance of Becky Lynch. Even at her best, The Man doesn’t compare to The Queen. Lynch was crushed when he 60 day suspension made her miss WrestleMania. When Flair is done with her, Lynch will be on the shelf for good. Lynch is a one-legged competitor in an ass kicking contest. The WWE Universe can bask in her glory when she becomes the RAW Women’s Champion. Flair lets out a “Woo!”
Dean Ambrose is sitting backstage when Seth Rollins walks up to him. Rollins says they haven’t always gotten along, but brothers fight. Even through everything, he likes to think there’s been some mutual respect. Whether they’re on the same team or against each other, Ambrose is his wrestling soulmate. Ambrose asks if he wants to get The Shield back together one last time, it’s a “no can do.” Ambrose is preoccupied and has to handle his business on his own. Ambrose sits down, and Rollins walks off.
“Ladies and gentlemen… Elias.”
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to hear Elias singing that he knows he’s in Philly because the Stanley Cup is nowhere to be found. He knows he’s in Philly because he saw an Eagle’s fan eating horse manure on the side of the road. How he really knows he’s in Philly is the children don’t have a future no matter how hard they try. He knows he’s in Philly because Bryce Harper told him this is where his career is going to die. Dean Ambrose’s music cuts him off.
Elias vs. Dean Ambrose
Ambrose ducks a clothesline and punches away at Elias. Elias knees and chops him, but Ambrose ducks a clothesline. Ambrose quickly takes him down and punches away at him. Ambrose stomps him down before the referee backs him up. Elias boots him in the face, but Ambrose takes him down before clotheslining him over the top rope. Ambrose goes outside and kicks Elias before bouncing him off the barricade. Ambrose quickly gets in the ring to stop the 10-count. Ambrose gets him in the ring before immediately clotheslining him out of the ring.
-Commercial Break-

Elias knocks Ambrose to the apron and dropkicks him to the floor. Ambrose quickly takes him down exiting the ring and hits Elias with a suicide dive. Ambrose gets him in the ring and hits a pair of clotheslines. Ambrose clotheslines him in the corner and goes for a bulldog, but Elias shoves him off. Elias clubs him down and catches his breath. Elias drops a knee for a two count. Elias punches Ambrose down and goes for Drift Away, but Ambrose counters into a roll-up for a two count. Ambrose then drops him with a neckbreaker.
Ambrose goes outside and tries to climb the ropes, but his back is too hurt. Ambrose eventually comes off the top rope, but Elias knees him out of mid-air. Elias then hits Drift Away for the win.
Winner by Pinfall: Elias

Ambrose is left laying in the center of the ring when Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins walk out to the stage. The crowd is chanting, “Shield.”
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins walking down to the ring while Dean Ambrose slowly gets to his feet. The crowd is chanting, “Shield.” Rollins says they have one more shot to do this the right way. Ambrose is very unsure and confrontational. Ambrose walks past them and leaves the ring. Ambrose walks around the ring and leaves through the crowd. Ambrose walks up the steps and looks at Reigns and Rollins in the ring.
Baron Corbin’s music hits, and he comes out to the stage with Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley. Corbin tells them to spare them from another minute of this broken record. Corbin gets this is the City of Brotherly Love, but this is pathetic. McIntyre says the fabled “Hounds of Justice” are broken and fighting for scraps at their table. McIntyre says this isn’t quite the return Roman Reigns envisioned. They’re pathetic. They were going to offer them the opportunity for an epic match this Sunday at Fastlane, but they don’t deserve it. McIntyre says they’re going to end this right now.
McIntyre, Lashley, and Corbin corner Reigns and Rollins. Reigns and Rollins try to fight them off, but they’re overcome. Ambrose looks conflicted, but he runs down and makes the save. Reigns hits Lashley with a Superman Punch. Rollins superkicks McIntyre, and Ambrose clotheslines Corbin out of the ring. The crowd is chanting, “Shield” again. Reigns and Rollins put their fists out while Ambrose paces. Ambrose then puts his fist there, and the crowd erupts! The Shield shouts at Corbin, McIntyre, and Lashley.
https://twitter.com/totaldivaseps/status/1102766452719915008
It was a quick build, but it was a satisfying conclusion. I loved the crowd reaction when The Shield joined fists. #Fastlane is becoming a must see show. #RAW

Tamina gets Banks in the ring and superkicks her for the win.
Winner by Pinfall: Tamina
The build to the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match for #Fastlane has not been great. Nia Jax loses last week (she shouldn't be losing) and Tamina wins this week (she is the expendable one). Yuck. #RAW
— Wrestleview.com (@wrestleview) March 5, 2019
Michael Che and Colin Jost are walking backstage. Che has to go to the bathroom and leaves Jost alone. Jost says he’s not afraid of any of these guys. https://twitter.com/totaldivaseps/status/1102774590940631040
This was the first lame night for Aleister Black and Ricochet. Putrid finish to set up a match at #WWEFastlane. I'd rather Black and Ricochet not get involved in pointless matches so soon upon debuting. I'd still be putting them in showcase matches, but that's just me… #RAW

Coming up next, Becky Lynch will sign a Hold Harmless agreement for Fastlane this Sunday.
-Commercial Break-
Stephanie McMahon makes her way to the ring holding the vacated RAW Women’s Championship above her head. McMahon says anything can happen on the Road to WrestleMania like the return of Roman Reigns and the reformation of The Shield. Or we could see Ronda Rousey vacate the RAW Women’s Championship just weeks before WrestleMania. Replays are shown of Rousey laying the RAW Women’s Championship down after Stephanie McMahon refused to reinstate Becky Lynch. McMahon now introduces Charlotte Flair to the ring.
QUEEN @MsCharlotteWWE has graced us all with her presence. #RAW pic.twitter.com/O719ksS5zI
— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) March 5, 2019
Charlotte Flair makes her entrance. McMahon and Flair both do the “Woo.” McMahon then introduces Becky Lynch, who comes out to a good reception. Lynch is still using a crutch to get around. Lynch gets in the ring, and Flair is laughing at her.
THE MAN COMES AROUND.#RAW @BeckyLynchWWE pic.twitter.com/StbF9jq72x
— WWE (@WWE) March 5, 2019
A loud “Becky” chant fires up. McMahon says we certainly need a champion, so at Fastlane it’ll be Charlotte Flair going one-on-one against “The Man” Becky Lynch to determine who will become the RAW Women’s Champion. Due to Lynch not being 100%, she has to sign a Hold Harmless agreement stating that she can’t sue WWE if something bad happens to her knee or other body part. Lynch takes the agreement and looks at it. Flair tells Lynch to sign it unless Stephanie wants to hand it to The Queen. Lynch says she beat Flair on one leg at the Royal Rumble. If Flair wants, she can beat her right now. McMahon says it has to happen at Fastlane. Lynch signs the agreement while the crowd chants her name. McMahon says it is official. We have ourselves a RAW Women’s Championship match.
We go backstage to see “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey storm her way into the arena.
Wait just a minute…@RondaRousey is HERE, and she's making a BEELINE for the ring! #RAW pic.twitter.com/9x8erNOmG7
— WWE (@WWE) March 5, 2019
-Commercial Break-
Ronda Rousey makes her way to the ring. Rousey demands to know what is going on. She says she gave Stephanie McMahon a week to think about it and doesn’t like this solution. Rousey demands her title back, so McMahon gives it back to her. McMahon says she still has to do business here. At Fastlane, Becky Lynch will still face Charlotte Flair. If Becky loses, she’s done… but if Becky wins, she will be added to the RAW Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania. It will be Ronda Rousey versus Charlotte Flair versus “The Man” Becky Lynch. McMahon asks if that gives Rousey what she wants.
Rousey says everyone knows McMahon values her wallet over all. Rousey earns too much money to be fired. Rousey can do whatever she wants because McMahon cares more about her wallet. Rousey did everything she could to respect this business. Rousey poured her heart and soul into this and how does she get repaid? They boo her out of the Staples Center, her home. She is not our dancing monkey anymore. She could break Flair and Lynch’s noses if she sneezes in their direction. Rousey says, “Damn your fantasies, damn the man, screw the woo, and no more Mrs. Nice Bitch!”
Rousey kicks Flair and punches Lynch down. Rousey applies her devastating arm bar to Lynch and cinches it in. Flair watches from outside the ring and looks pleased. Rousey reapplies the arm bar before releasing and standing over Lynch. Rousey then picks Lynch back up and slams her down before punching away at her. Rousey punches her in the kidneys a few times before putting the arm bar back on. Flair is watching this from the ramp. Rousey releases the hold and looks at Flair. Rousey then starts shouting at the crowd.

We go backstage to see Charly Caruso interview Stephanie McMahon. She says it looks like Stephanie did Ronda Rousey a favor. McMahon says she didn’t do a favor at all. Rousey showed her true colors and showed she is an animal. Rousey has no regard for anyone. McMahon says she has no love for Becky Lynch, but she feels sorry for her. McMahon is sick to her stomach. She can’t wait to see what happens at WrestleMania. Rousey will get what’s coming to her. McMahon says we’re going to get one hell of a triple threat match or one hell of a singles match at WrestleMania. Caruso asks if she has any more decisions that need to be made. McMahon says Rousey is a loose cannon, but she will make a decision. Rousey is seen posing on the turnbuckles.
Well that is certainly one newsworthy development. The biggest heel heading into #WrestleMania looks to be Ronda Rousey. Great, quick turn from Rousey, who probably really is harboring some ill feelings toward the fans that boo her. Dominant turn. #RAW
