We see footage from moments ago of AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows viciously attacking The Undisputed ERA backstage. Gallows sends Bobby Fish headfirst into a crate and what looks like blood splatters everywhere. Gallows then chokeslams him through a table.

AJ Styles and The O.C. walk out to the ring to boos. AJ Styles says, “So this is NXT…” Styles says The Undisputed ERA tried to take over Raw. They’re here to take over NXT since all their champions are out of commission. Styles says that’s not just phenomenal. It’s undisputed.

Tommaso Ciampa comes out to the stage and welcomes The O.C. to the main roster. NXT has always been THE show. NXT is Daddy’s home. A “Daddy’s home” chant picks up. Ciampa says if they want to come here and whip the Undisputed ERA’s ass, that’s fine. If they want to stand in his ring and take over, he does have a problem with that. Styles asks if the three of them are supposed to be worried about Ciampa. A “YES” chant picks up. Styles says at least Ciampa is the only one with balls to challenge them.
Keith Lee and Matt Riddle join Ciampa’s side. Ciampa says at NXT TakeOver: WarGames, the three of them are ready for the Undisputed ERA. However tonight, they want The O.C. AJ Styles accepts. Everyone leaves the area.

Pete Dunne vs. Damian Priest
The bell rings, and they slowly circle the ring. Dunne approaches him, and Priest leans against the ropes. They lock up, and Priest hooks a side headlock. Dunne whips him off and leapfrogs him, but Priest counters into a Reckoning attempt. Dunne goes for the Bitter End, but Priest gets away. Dunne avoids some roundhouse kicks, and Priest avoids a strike.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Priest hit Dunne with a falcon arrow for a two count. During the commercial, Priest wiped Dunne out with a strike combo. Priest takes Dunne down and kicks away at him before applying a chin lock. Dunne fights up, so Priest shoves him to the corner. Dunne charges out and applies a double wristlock before transitioning into an X-Plex. They trade blows before Dunne chops away at him. Dunne flips over him and knocks him back before hitting a missile dropkick to the leg. Priest quickly elbows him and goes for a German Suplex, but Dunne lands on his feet. Dunne then kicks him in the head. Priest rolls out of the ring to recover. Dunne goes to the second rope and connects with a moonsault block to the floor. An “NXT” chant picks up.
Dunne takes his time getting up and gets out of an attack from Priest. Dunne jumps onto the steps and flips over him. Priest quickly grabs him and hits a chokeslam on the edge of the apron. Priest gets him in the ring, but Dunne stops him. Dunne hits a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall. Dunne stomps the hands of Priest and goes for the Bitter End. Priest hits a bell clap before connecting with a big kick to the face. Dunne rolls out of the ring, and Priest catches him with a painful looking summersault senton.

-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see them trading punches before Dunne connects with a vicious punch. They trade big blows before hitting double kicks to the face. Both men are down now. An “NXT” chant picks up. Dunne avoids a kick and head-butts him. Priest then turns him inside out with a clothesline. Dunne counters South of Heaven with a kick to the skull. Dunne scales the ropes to flip over him, but Priest counters by hitting a crucifix powerbomb for a near fall!
Both men are down again. Priest gets up and goes to grab Dunne, but Dunne grabs the fingers and bends them. Priest backs into the corner and sandwiches the referee there. Priest goes for a low blow, but Dunne blocks it. Dunne low blows Priest and viciously twists the fingers for the submission!

Dunne stands tall in the ring before Killian Dain attacks him from behind. Priest pulls Dain off and punches away at Dunne. Dain then turns Priest around and head-butts him out of the ring. Dain then avalanches Dunne before hitting a Vader Bomb. Dain talks trash and leaves the ring. Priest then attacks Dain, but Dain quickly throws him into the steps. Dain then hits a cannonball on Priest against the steps!

Team Baszler (Shayna Baszler, Io Shirai, and Bianca Belair) and Team Ripley (Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, and Tegan Nox) are the teams so far for WarGames. Each team has one more spot to fill.
Dakota Kai is backstage when Cathy Kelley walks up. Kelly says Shayna Baszler said that Kai would be a wasted pick at WarGames. Kai says she was intimidated at first, but since her injury she’s back with no fear. She wants to prove she belongs in the double cage. We’ll see how Baszler feels when she kicks her face off tonight.

Tommaso Ciampa, Matt Riddle, and Keith Lee will take on The O.C. tonight.
Taynara vs. Santana Garrett
They circle the ring, and Taynara takes her down with an arm bar attempt. Garrett quickly gets out. Garrett wrenches the arm, but Taynara takes her down. Taynara grabs the arm and twists it. Garrett reverses into a head-scissor. Garrett hits a pair of arm bars followed by a Russian Leg Sweep for a no count. Taynara quickly hits a belly-to-belly suplex followed by a knee to the face. Taynara wraps the arm around the ropes and kicks it. Taynara kicks the arm and covers for a two count. Taynara kicks Garrett in the arm, but Garrett fights back. Taynara quickly knees her in the ribs and takes her down with some judo throws. Taynara takes her down into the Rings of Saturn. Garrett twists out and boots her back. Garrett hits a pair of clotheslines and a handspring back elbow. Garrett goes for a roll-up, but Taynara holds the ropes. Garrett punches her down for a two count. Garrett goes for a handspring moonsault, but Taynara moves. Taynara then grabs the arm and kicks her in the face for the win.

Dakota Kai vs. Shayna Baszler w/ Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir
Shayna Baszler’s NXT Women’s Championship will not be on the line.
They lock up, and Baszler backs Kai into the corner. Kai shoves her off. Baszler grabs her and pulls the hair before talking trash. Kai pie faces her and takes her down before lightly kicking her in the head. Kai kicks her harder this time and avoids a shoulder in the corner before taking her down. Kai hits an arm bar and a snapmare before kicking her in the face. Baszler quickly rolls out of the ring to recover. Kai gets on the apron, but Baszler viciously sends her into the ring post.
Kai gets in the ring, and Baszler viciously attacks the surgically repaired knee. Baszler twists the leg before hitting a double stomp on the knee.

We come back from the break to see Baszler applying a knee bar. Kai kicks her in the face to get out. Kai hobbles to the corner and takes Baszler down with a kick. Kai hits a pair of clotheslines and some kicks before forearming her back. Kai takes her down and pulls her to the apron for a big boot. Kai gets back in the ring and hits a slingshot knee to the face for a two count. Kai goes to the apron and pulls herself up to the top rope. Baszler cuts her off and hits a gutwrench superplex for a near fall.

Baszler and Kai trade forearms from their knees. They get to their feet and continue to battle it out with forearms. Baszler pushes her and punches her. Kai ducks a clothesline and head-butts her. Kai hits the ropes, but Baszler catches her with a roundhouse kick. Kai bounces off the ropes and hits a discus forearm. Kai backs up and charges, but Baszler kicks her. Kai quickly follows up with a knee to the face. Both women are down. Kai pulls the hair and kicks her in the face a few times. Baszler gets out of a GTK and viciously knees her in the face, but Kai kicks out. Baszler goes for a Kirifuda Clutch and hits the ropes, but Baszler takes her down and applies the Kirifuda Clutch! Kai tries to roll to the ropes, but Baszler cinches the hold in and gets the submission.

Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke attack Dakota Kai after the match. Rhea Ripley and Tegan Nox run out, but they’re attacked from behind by Bianca Belair and Io Shirai. Mia Yim runs out with a kendo stick and viciously takes Duke out with wild shots. Yim then hits Baszler with the kendo stick to get her out of the ring.

The Baszler/Kai match was pretty good at the start, but kind of fell apart the deeper they got into it. The punches were really starting to look bad. Overall the finish was strong. Good build for #WarGames with the post-match attack. #WWENXT

Ciampa says he’ll let her know the last member of their team when they want Undisputed ERA to know. As for The O.C. and the rest of that crew, they left the door wide open.

Garza pulls at the hair and takes him down. Garza looks for a submission, but Nese twists out. Both men fight up to their feet. Nese quickly kicks Garza and takes him down. Nese applies a wristlock, but Garza fights up. Nese hits a waistlock takeover before posing. Both men are at a standoff after countering some moves. Garza goes to take his pants off, but Nese stops him. They trade big chops before Nese takes him down. Nese elbows him back and punches him in the midsection. Nese kicks him, but Garza hits a step-up enzuigiri. Garza goes for a superplex, but Nese holds on. Nese goes for a powerbomb, but winds up hitting a sit-out powerbomb on Garza’s ripped pants. Garza then kicks him in the head.

We come back from the break to see Garza kick away at Nese and hit a wrecking ball dropkick to send him out of the ring. Garza goes to the second rope and hits a moonsault block to the floor.

Garza gets him in the ring, sidesteps a big boot, and hits a double-arm backbreaker for a near fall. Nese soon slides out of a slam and hits a pumphandle sit-out slam for a near fall. Garza soon turns him upside down and hits a lung blower! A “Garza” chant picks up. Garza goes to the top rope, but Nese punches him to the floor. Garza quickly gets on the apron, but Nese kicks him in the face. Nese then sweeps the feet to send him to the floor. Nese avoids a strike and hits a tornado DDT on the floor. Nese gets on the top rope and hits a 450 splash… but Garza gets a foot on the bottom rope at the last moment!
Nese and Garza trade forearms. Garza kicks him in the ribs, and they chop each other’s chests. Garza hits an impressive sit-out powerbomb for a near fall. Garza soon comes back with a Wing Clipper for the win.

Angel Garza is the #1 Contender for Lio Rush’s NXT Cruiserweight Championship. As Garza celebrates up the ramp Lio Rush walks out. Rush goes for a handshake, and Garza viciously slaps him in the face before walking off. Rush smiles and looks at Garza.

Lio Rush will defend the NXT Cruiserweight Championship against Angel Garza next week on WWE NXT.
Cathy Kelley catches up with Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, and Mia Yim. Ripley says after what she just witnessed, Mia Yim is her fourth member. Yim says at WarGames, they’ll be collecting bodies. Ripley apologizes to Dakota Kai and says she didn’t make the cut. Kai sadly walks off. Ripley happily says this is her team.

There will be two WarGames matches at NXT TakeOver. Team Ripley vs. Team Baszler, and The Undisputed ERA vs. Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Matt Riddle, and a mystery partner.
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Dominik Dijakovic
Scott quickly wrenches the arm, but Dijakovic hooks a side headlock. Dijakovic hits a snapmare, but Scott rolls away from him before taunting him. Scott kicks and dropkicks Dijakovic down. Scott kicks Dijakovic in the knee before forearming him in the face. Scott goes for a slingshot, but Dijakovic catches him. Dijakovic manhandles him before kneeing him in the ribs and hitting a standing fallaway slam. Dijakovic clubs away at him before hitting a release suplex for a one count. Dijakovic backs him to the corner and elbows him in the head. Dijakovic hits a backbreaker and hits a springboard splash for a near fall.
Scott counters some strikes and rolls into a flatliner. Scott uppercuts Dijakovic and comes off the second rope with a back elbow to the back of the neck. Dijakovic drops him on the apron, but Scott comes back with a German Suplex. Dijakovic quickly knocks him back and goes to the second rope, but Scott crotches him. Scott hits a brutal looking DDT for a near fall. Scott goes to the top rope, but Dijakovic kicks the legs out. Scott counters Feast Your Eyes into a roll-up for a near fall! Dijakovic covers up for a kick, but Scott comes right back with a kick. Scott rolls back, and Dijakovic levels him with a big kick. Dijakovic hits a sit-out choke bomb for a near fall. Dijakovic cannot believe it.

Dijakovic looks down at Scott and pulls him up by the hair. Dijakovic stares into Scott’s eyes, and Scott smiles. Scott counters a chokeslam into a poison-rana! Scott goes to the top rope and hits a double stomp to Dijakovic’s chest on the apron. Scott connects with a clothesline that turns Dijakovic inside out… but Dijakovic kicks out. Scott blocks a right hand and hits the House Call. Dijakovic comes back with a cyclone clothesline, but Scott comes right back with a double stomp. Scott goes for a rolling flatliner again, but Dijakovic counters into Feast Your Eyes for the win!

The O.C. vs. Matt Riddle, Keith Lee, and Tommaso Ciampa
Before the bell rings, a brawl breaks out between the two teams. The NXT contingent clears The O.C. from the ring. They brawl at ringside. AJ Styles slams Riddle off the barricade and gets in the ring. Ciampa gets away and gets in the ring.
The bell rings. It’s Ciampa against Styles to kick it off. They get into a hockey brawl. Styles avoids a knee, but Ciampa comes right back with a kick. Ciampa hits the ropes, but Styles dropkicks him out of the ring. Styles then hits Riddle with a Phenomenal Forearm plancha.

Ciampa catches Styles coming in the ring with a big DDT for a near fall. Keith Lee tags in, and he punches Styles. Styles slides out of a slam and chop blocks Lee. Luke Gallows tags in, and he squares off against Lee. The crowd is loudly chanting for Lee. They lock up, and Gallows hooks a side headlock. Lee whips him off and hits a shoulder block, but Gallows stays standing. Gallows hits the ropes, but Lee absorbs a shoulder block. Lee hits the ropes again, and Gallows falls back attempting a shoulder block. Gallows challenges him to try again, and Lee sends him to the floor on a shoulder block. Gallows angrily gets in the ring and uppercuts him. Karl Anderson tags in and kicks Lee. Anderson hits the ropes, but Lee leapfrogs him, drops down, and hits a standing cross-body block.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Styles ground Ciampa. Anderson tags in and stomps Ciampa down. Anderson hits a snapmare and applies a chin lock. A “Go back to Raw” chant picks up. Ciampa hits a jawbreaker and punches Styles. Ciampa goes for a tag, but Anderson pulls him back for a swinging spinebuster for a near fall. Gallows tags in and punches Ciampa before hitting a suplex. Gallows elbows him in the ribs a few times before applying a chin lock. Ciampa fights up.
We’re in the overrun of the show. Gallows gets knocked out of the ring, but he pulls Lee off the apron and superkicks his head into the steel steps. Anderson tags in and stops Ciampa from making a tag. Anderson comes off the second rope, but Ciampa knees him in the face.
Riddle and Styles tag in. Riddle hits a knee before kneeing Gallows off the apron. Riddle hits Styles with an exploder before hitting Anderson with an exploder. Riddle connects with a Broton on Styles before hitting a Broton on Anderson. Riddle hits Styles with a penalty kick before hitting Anderson with a German Suplex. Riddle hits Styles with a Final Flash knee and follows up with a Bro To Sleep. Gallows breaks up the pin. Gallows and Anderson go for the Magic Killer on Lee, but Ciampa breaks it up. Lee picks up Gallows and curls him before hitting a scoop slam. Styles lays Lee out with a big DDT. Riddle goes for a German Suplex, but Styles lands on his feet. Styles kicks him before hitting a brainbuster for a near fall. Styles is furious.
An “NXT” chant picks up. Styles sets up for a Styles Clash, but Riddle backs him to the corner. Styles boots Riddle and knocks him back. Styles goes for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Riddle moves. Lee then hits Styles with a Pounce that also wipes out the referee. Lee then clotheslines Anderson out of the ring. Riddle goes for a running Fosbury Flop, but his feet get caught on the ropes! Riddle doesn’t get hurt thankfully.
Ciampa knees Styles and sets up for the end, but Finn Balor’s music hits. Balor comes out and hits Riddle with the 1916 on the floor! Styles smiles at Balor and puts the hands up. Balor signals back at him. Styles goes for a Styles Clash, but NXT Champion Adam Cole superkicks him. Cole then hits Ciampa with a Last Shot. Balor smiles at Cole as the show comes to an end.

Good main event, but it was taken down a bit by the non-finish. I guess they didn't want either team to lose. Good stuff with Finn Balor coming out, a former "main roster" guy. #WWENXT

Overall this was another solid episode of #WWENXT. I'm sure there was a ton of curiosity coming into this show, which should result in more viewers. They seem to be stacking next week's show to try to keep them watching. No viewer loses on Wednesday nights no matter the pick.
