Some spoiler notes following the NXT TV tapings on Friday night in Atlanta.
NXT TakeOver: New Orleans main event revealed
The scheduled main event for NXT TakeOver: New Orleans during WrestleMania 34 weekend will be Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. Aleister Black for the NXT Championship.
Black earned a win over Killian Dain in a No. 1 Contendership match at the tapings on Friday night in Atlanta. A segment was taped to close the show featuring a contract signing for the championship match at NXT TakeOver this April.
Ricochet debuts at tapings
Despite just signing with WWE a few weeks ago and reporting to the Performance Center in Orlando, Ricochet made his debut at the NXT tapings last night in Atlanta.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque shared a photo of Ricochet backstage shortly before his debut match in a win over Fabian Aichner.
