The new plan in WWE is to tape two matches for Superstars on Monday and one on Tuesday during the Smackdown/ECW tapings reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The original plan for the show was that it would be the only show that featured interbrand matches, however that appears to be changed to having only one match be featured that way. As noted on earlier, they are now taping matches with Smackdown brand wrestlers on Monday’s before Raw or after Raw when they run on the West Coast and another match with Raw wrestlers. They also plan to tape matches with ECW wrestlers on Tuesday following the ECW taping for continuity purposes. It is possible these plans will vary from time to time. It also means Jim Ross will be on the road for both the Raw tapings and Smackdown/ECW tapings since he will be needed at both. Todd Grisham has already been doing both nights as he works as a backstage interviewer on Raw.
