Despite prior announcements by the UFC on Wednesday that Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt would now become the new main event of UFC 200 after Jon Jones was pulled from the card due to a potential USADA violation, a series of changes to the card for this Saturday in Las Vegas were made late Thursday night.
UFC veteran Anderson Silva has stepped up and will now fight UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier in a non-title fight. As a result, Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship will now headline UFC 200 and Lesnar vs. Hunt has been shifted back to the co-main event.
