Jeff Weiner of the Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Heather Fagan, deputy chief of staff for Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, confirmed on Friday that Orlando has submitted a bid to host WrestleMania in 2017 at the Citrus Bowl where WrestleMania was held in 2008.
Fagan gave the following statement regarding the bid.
“We have not received any notification and are waiting to hear just like other cities.”
