WWE Hall of Famer “Mean” Gene Okerlund posted the following on Twitter today:
“Be sure to keep @WWE Hall of Famer, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan in your thoughts today. He is having an important surgery. GO”
Okerlund also re-tweeted a tweet from David Herro on Twitter about the nature of Heenan’s surgery taking place today:
“Please keep my friend, Bobby Heenan in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow as he undergoes reconstructive surgey on the equipment in his jaw.”
Heenan has gone through a series of health issues relating to his throat and jaw for well over a decade. Heenan was diagnosed with throat cancer in late-2001.
On behalf of the staff at Wrestleview.com, we wish Heenan a quick and painless recovery from his most recent surgery.
