Former WWE, WCW & TNA star Diamond Dallas Page posted a new blog on his Facebook page last night, updating fans on his current status after being in the hospital over the weekend for an issue with throat, diagonsed as “subglotic traceitis”, which is a severe swelling of the vocal chords, that can also bring a narrowing of the airway under the chords due to mucus, preventing one from getting enough air in to breathe. In the blog, Page announced that he will be undergoing surgery next week on his throat to clear out nodules and anything else needed to repair the damage to his throat.
