Scott Fishman of The Miami Herald is featuring an interview with WWE Diva Alicia Fox talking about her debut on the next season of “Total Divas” on the E! network on Sunday night and her initial introduction to the WWE back in 2006 in developmental.
On being part of the “Total Divas” cast this season:
“It’s pretty cool because Paige and I are the new additions. It’s was unexpected for me for sure. I’m so thrilled to be a part of it. I’m having such a great time with it. With the girls, I’ve had good relationships with anyways, so I’m really having the time of my life. It’s really awesome to have a platform to be able to communicate and have a way for fans to understand who I am. They can see how I can relate to them. They also have taught me stuff about myself. It is really nice for the fans to hear me have a voice and opinion and understand my goals. I think it will be really beneficial for everyone involved.”
On signing with WWE back in 2006:
“Everyone comes in differently, but going into the training and developmental was such a great learning experience for me. I would never trade that time and the things I learned, in and out of the ring, for anything. When I first got signed, I was 19. So WWE has really given me the chance to grow from a relative child. I think I’ve really transitioned into a young woman. I feel like I really matured on different levels being with WWE. I just feel like I don’t know how I would be able to take this opportunity and realize what a great blessing this is if I was starting from the very bottom.”
