WWE sent out the following statement today when asked about Smackdown’s timeslot to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com:
“Smackdown is on Fridays at 8pm.”
A programming update by Syfy earlier today seemed to indicate that Smackdown would not be moving to Thursday nights and would remain on Friday nights.
