Rey Mysterio was at WWE Headquarters in Stamford on 4/30 discussing a new contract according to a report by Dave Meltzer. The impression for weeks now is that he would be offered a new deal to be a part-time wrestler and ambassador for the company. Vince McMahon has reportedly pushed hard to keep him under some sort of a deal.
