WWE will be dropping the term Pay Per View going forward. The shows will instead be referred to as “special events” now that they are part of the WWE Network.
Regarding purchasing events through other providers, inDemand will be carrying Extreme Rules on 5/4. DirecTV carried both Elimination Chamber and Wrestlemania 30, while Dish Network opted to not carry Elimination Chamber and then made a last minute decision to carry Wrestlemania last Sunday.
