Mike Snider of USA Today is featuring an article looking at the launch of the WWE Network last week and some of the issues the company ran into in the first week.
“As with the recent launch of Beats Music, consumer demand overloaded the network and some customers were unable to register immediately, with some issues for Xbox 360 users expected to continue through the weekend. Other viewers experienced some subsequent buffering and streaming issues during the launch week. Such initial hurdles are par for the course on new tech ventures and MLB Advance Media, the tech division of Major League Baseball, is WWE’s tech provider and will likely get the kinks ironed out quickly.”
