According to a new report by Dave Meltzer, WWE star CM Punk informed Vince McMahon on Monday that he was going home shortly before the 1/27 RAW taping in Cleveland. Punk was originally scheduled to work the taping in a qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber and those plans were later changed. He has been pulled from all WWE advertising going forward. As reported on earlier, Punk’s contract with WWE expires this July.
