Mike Johnson is reporting that WWE NXT creative team member Rob Naylor departed the company over this past weekend. This departure was part of the transition of WWE developmental from Tampa to Orlando with the new Performance Center. Naylor was said to be very well liked by everybody and received high marks for his work with Dusty Rhodes. it is also said that the departure was “amicable” and Naylor was told that the door is open for him to come back.
Over the weekend, a number of NXT wrestlers and staff, including CM Punk, paid tribute to Naylor on Twitter using the hashtag #ThankYouNaylor. Naylor also received a nice send-off by the NXT roster last week.
Triple H had the following to say to Naylor on Twitter:
