The following was taped on Monday in London, England.
WWE RAW taping for April 22, 2013:
* The show opened with Paul Heyman claiming he had an email from Triple H backing out of Brock Lesnar’s challenge. Triple H comes out, accepts the steel cage match challenge for Extreme Rules and gave Heyman a Pedigree.
* R-Truth def. Antonio Cesaro.
* Damien Sandow def. Brodus Clay.
* WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler def. Chris Jericho. The stipulation was that if Jericho won, he would be added to the triple threat WWE World Title match at Extreme Rules. Fandango’s music hit distracting Jericho to setup the finish.
* Tensai def. Cody Rhodes.
* Backstage, Ryback cut a promo about how the fans don’t understand him. He talked down John Cena and said he would see Mick Foley in the ring later tonight.
* Big E Langston def. Zack Ryder.
* The Shield def. The Undertaker and WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No.
* Fandango def. William Regal. After the match, Chris Jericho attacks Fandango as he is celebrating.
* AJ Lee won a Battle Royal to become the #1 contender for the WWE Divas Championship.
* The show closed with Ryback confronting Mick Foley. Foley refuses to back down from a fight discussing his career. Ryback cuts off Foley saying he will destroy Cena and win the WWE Championship. Ryback gets in Foley’s face teasing he will attack him when John Cena hits the ring. The Shield comes out and Cena backs off. The Shield starts going after Ryback when Cena charges back with a chair. Cena chases them off and then starts brawling with Ryback. Cena gives Ryback an AA to end the taping.
