The first episode of NXT in 2025 on the CW drew big ratings for the linear broadcast network.
According to Variety, this past Tuesday’s NXT, which was themed as New Year’s Evil, which featured The Rock, drew 957,000 total viewers and 341,000 viewers (0.25) in the key 18-49 demographic. This is the highest numbers for NXT since the September 25, 2019 show that saw 1.006 million viewers, which was the second episode that had aired on USA Network
Last Tuesday’s New Year’s Eve taped show, drew 626,000 viewers and a 0.16 rating in the key demographic.
The premiere episode of NXT on the CW back on October 1, 2024 drew a total of 895,000 viewers.
