In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer is reporting that two potential matches are being planned for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, when the show makes its return on December 14.
Two championship matches that will feature Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther vs. Damian Priest are currently slated for the card but is said not to yet have been made official.
The show will stream live on NBC and Peacock, beginning at 8:00 pm ET from the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York.
WWE World Tag Team Champions visit OTT
WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh visited the OTT school of wrestling. OTT is a Dublin, Ireland based promotion. Balor and McDonagh are scheduled to wrestling at OTT’s tenth anniversary show this weekend, as they take on OTT World Tag Team Champions, The Social Elite.
Maria Kanellis undergoes successful surgery

Maria Kanellis provided an update on social media, noting she is still in the hospital and that her bloodwork looks good. Maria further notes that the biopsy results should be back in 7-10 days and she may have to stay overnight more night due to nausea and a headache.
ROH/AEW star Maria Kanellis is recovering after undergoing successful surgery for a mass on her adrenal gland.
Kanellis’ husband Mike Bennett shared an update on X, noting that Maria would be released from the hospital sometime on Friday.
Maria’s contract with AEW/ROH is set to expire at the end of this month.
