WWE SmackDown viewers and key demo gown against stiff competition from MLB and football

Last Friday’s WWE SmackDown live on the USA Network, came in with 1.378 million viewers.

This week’s viewership is down from the 1.652 million viewers SmackDown had from the previous week.

In the key 18-49 demographic, SmackDown drew a 0.42 rating, which is down from last week’s 0.49 rating.

The Oregon vs. Purdue college football game on FOX averaged 2.147 million viewers and a 0.48 rating per to Programming Insider.

On cable, WWE Smackdown ranked No. 3 in primetime and No. 6 for the day in the key 18-49 demographic. The New York Yankees vs. the Cleveland Guardians MLB ALCS game on TBS led the night on cable with 5.1 million viewers and a 1.27 rating in the key 18-49 key demographic. The NLCS game which was the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. the New York Mets on FS1 averaged 4.32 million viewers and a 0.96 rating in the key 18-49 demographic.

WWE SmackDown, however, was ahead of the WNBA final game (Game 4) on ESPN that drew 1.667 million viewers and a 0.41 rating in the key 18-49 demographic.

Last Friday’s WWE SmackDown was the sixth and least watched episode since returning to the USA Network.
