Jason Solomon of the Solomonster podcast recently took to social media to comment on how unenthusiastic then Todd Grisham commentator was when Christian came back to WWE’s version of ECW in 2009, after his run in TNA had come to an end.
Grisham said he was in the Gorilla position right before the show, where Vince McMahon told him that when Christian walks out, not to get excited at all and to just simply say it’s Christian and that is it.
AEW CEO, President and General Manager Tony Khan also commented, by saying what Grisham was told to do – was “insane.” Christian has been with AEW since debuting with the company in 2021. It is being said that he is doing some of the best promo work of his career.
