Fightful Select has provided some backstage news and notes from this past Tuesday’s NXT, which featured CM Punk.
After NXT went off the air, Punk stayed around at the Performance Center for 30 minutes talking to and taking pictures with fans. Per one source, the segment with Punk, Roxanne Perez and Giulia went longer than the length it was listed on the internal run sheet.
Punk is scheduled to appear on the premiere episode of NXT on The CW. Punk will be the special guest referee for the NXT Championship Match with Ethan Page defending against Trick Williams.
NXT moves to The CW, beginning Tuesday, October 1 and will air live on the network each week from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm ET.
