Former WWE development talent Mike Taylor has passed away

Wrestleview is sad to report that former WWE development talent Mike Taylor (real name Michael Sharrer), has passed away at the age of 47.

He signed a developmental deal with WWE back in 2006. He appeared for enhancement roles in WWE and also performed for OVW and Deep South Wrestling. In addition, Sharrer performed motion capture material for several WWE video game releases.

WWE released him from his contract in 2007. Post-WWE, Sharrer began using the in-ring names of Micah Taylor and Sandy Beach (specifically in Japan and Hawaii). Taylor also wrestled on regular basis along the independent scene in the southern states of Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama. 

Sharrer last wrestled in 2002.

Mike Mondo, who is best known by the name of Mikey, who was part of the Spirit Squad in WWE posted a tribute to Taylor on Facebook.

At the time of this writing, there is no mention of the cause of death.
