F4WOnline has provided an update on former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, following an injury angle that took place on last Monday’s WWE Raw.
There was a confrontation between Rollins, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre on the show. Following the segment, Bronson Reed took out Rollins with six Tsunamis.
According to Dave Meltzer, the injury angle was done to cover for a legitimate injury Rollins is currently dealing with. It was also said that even though Rollins is cleared to wrestle, he is banged up and is expected to miss some time.
It was also noted that Rollins’ issues are chronic, but not at the point to getting flagged and that he is trying to stay ahead of the things. Furthermore it was said that it is not clear if he will be back in time for Bash in Berlin on August 31.
Following his title loss at WrestleMania 40, Rollins underwent knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus. He made his return to the ring at last month’s Money in the Bank, where he was unsuccessful in regaining the World Heavyweight Title in a match against then champion Damian Priest.
