As earlier reported, The Rock showed extra footage from a segment in which he attack Cody Rhodes on the 3/25 edition of RAW.
Cody’s wife Brandi has responded to the comments and the beatdown on social media.
During her run in AEW, Brandi Rhodes was known for getting into it on the mic against those who went after her husband and family, particularly the likes of Jade Cargill and Dan Lambert.
It may be worth noting that despite bringing up “Mama Rhodes” and Cody’s dog Pharaoh, The Rock has yet to directly target the former Eden Stiles in his diatribes.
The Rock is set to team with Roman Reigns to take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on Night One of WrestleMania 40, to determine the stipulation of the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship bout on Night Two.
If Rhodes and Rollins win, Bloodline will be banned from ringside, but if Rock and Reigns win the match will be contested under Bloodline Rules in which anything goes.
WrestleMania 40 takes place April 6 and April 7 from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
