WWE and MLW reach $20 million settlement of antitrust lawsuit

More details have come out regarding the settlement between WWE and MLW, resolving an antitrust lawsuit that began in January 2022.

Fightful has reported that a 10-K filing from TKO Group has revealed the terms of the settlement, which amounts to $20 million and a stipulation that the case should be “voluntarily dismissed with prejudice.”

The lawsuit went through many amendments and motions, dismissed in February 2023 before MLW filed an amendment that was seen through after a judge denied WWE’s motion to dismiss it that June.

MLW argued that WWE was engaging in unfair practices that involved blocking ROH and AEW events, as well as a deal between MLW and FOX-owned streaming service Tubi facing interference from Stephanie McMahon.
