Cody Rhodes has a supporter in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Fightful Select has published a report with details between a recent interaction between The Rock and Cody Rhodes.
The report notes The Rock and Cody had an interaction backstage at the Day 1 episode of WWE Raw, prior to the segment between The Rock and Jinher Mahal. It was said that The Rock and Rhodes embraced each other and that Rhodes was told by The Rock about how much he supports him and the things he has been doing for WWE since his return. Fightful Select also said the moment between The Rock and Rhodes was filmed by WWE and The Rock’s publicity team.
Fightful Select further notes that sources told them based on the exchange, no one got the feeling that “The Rock was there to stand in the way of anything.” However, it was added that the interaction between The Rock and Rhodes took place before The Rock made his “Head of the Table” comment, which no one reportedly knew was going to be said.
The report also added that The Rock has supported Rhodes for a long time, including his time as an Executive Vice President and talent in AEW.
