As reported by Fightful Select, Ohio Valley Wrestling has signed Mickie James to a major role outside the ring.
The former WWE Women’s Champion joins the company as Creative Director and Head of Female Talent, as well as an Executive Producer for all wrestling shows for OVW.
OVW has released a statement regarding the news, noting Mickie’s experience in and out of the ring, along with current and future projects she will oversee including Starrcast Down Under in April 2024 and “an exclusive TV series focused on female empowerment in professional wrestling.”
The role brings James back to OVW after a run with the company during the course of her first WWE developmental contract.
