McKenize Mitchell appeared on latest episode of Insight with Chris Vliet.
Mitchell spoke on her release from NXT back on December 1. She said that is excited for the future. She also noted the support she has received from everyone after her release made her emotional.
Mitchell said that since her release, she has been putting all of her creative efforts into her Headline by MM jewelry line. She did say that she still watches WWE and NXT to show her support to all her friends that still work in the company. Mitchell further noted that she texts her husband Vic Joseph good luck before every NXT broadcast.
Shawn Michaels had previously commented on Mitchell’s release, saying he was actually blindsided her release. He also went on to say Mitchell was well-liked within the company and said that he hopes Mitchell can return to WWE in the future.
Prior to joining WWE’s NXT brand as a backstage interviewer, Mitchell was a backstage interviewer for TNA/IMPACT Wrestling.
