Report: Former NWA women’s star believed to have signed with WWE

According to reports from PWInsider and F4WOnline, a former NWA Women’s Tag Team champion looks to be on her way to WWE.

Madi Wrenkowski was said to have been at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando last week and is believed to have signed an NXT contract. She attended a WWE tryout this past September.

Wrenkowski held the Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Missa Kate for six months. Wrenkowski and Kate lost the titles to the team of Pretty Empowered (Ella Envy and Kylie Paige) at the NWA’s 75th anniversary show this past August.

Wrenkowski wrestled regularly on AEW’s former YouTube show, Dark. She made one appearance on an episode of AEW Rampage last March, losing to Nyla Rose.

Wrenkowski is the Women’s Champions for River City Wrestling, which in an indie based promotion in San Antonio, Texas.
