Rhea Ripley tops PWI Women’s 250 for 2023

The latest issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated is set to release soon, and the top 10 of the PWI Women’s 250 has been revealed.

Standing at the very top of the list is WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, whose year included winning the 2023 Royal Rumble and defeating Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39, a title later rebranded as the Women’s World Championship on the 6/12 edition of RAW.

A mix of talent from WWE, AEW, IMPACT, NWA, and Japanese promotions round out the top 10 of this year’s PWI Women’s 250:

4) Jamie Hayter
5) Tam Nakano
6) Athena

The evaluation period ran from October 1, 2022 to September 15, 2023.

Criteria considered for the rankings include in-ring achievement, influence on the sport/promotion, technical ability, quality of competition, and activity.
