Pat McAfee nominated for Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2024

Pat McAfee has been nominated for the 2024 class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, per a report from PWInsider.

The report includes the full list of 173 nominees announced, nine of whom are in their first year of eligibility.

The list will be narrowed down to just 25 semifinalists in November.

McAfee played for the Indianapolis Colts as a kicker from 2009 until 2016, retiring after eight seasons to join Barstool Sports as a contributor before incorporating his own business in Pat McAfee Inc. in 2018.

Around this time he began appearing on WWE programming as a pre-show analyst for NXT Takeover events, before signing a multi-year contract with the company that saw him take on a commentator role in NXT and on SmackDown.

McAfee is currently focused on his own podcast and other projects, but has appeared on WWE programming as recently as WrestleMania 39 and the 9/15 edition of SmackDown.
