Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling has announced on its social media that Charlie Dempsey vs. Axiom will take place at the promotion’s Grand Opening event – The Next Chapter, which takes place on Saturday, September 23.
Dempsey and Axiom are currently part of the NXT Global Heritage Invitational. Both men are in the Group A part of the tournament. Axiom, formerly known as A-Kid has already wrestled in one of the tournament matches, going to a time limit draw with Butch. Dempsey, the real-life son of William Regal recently lost to Butch in a tournament matchup.
The winner of the NXT Global Heritage Invitational will go on to challenge Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup at NXT No Mercy on Saturday, September 30. No Mercy will emanate from the Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, California, will air live on Peacock in the United States WWE Network everywhere else, beginning at 8:00 pm ET.
The first two hours of NXT No Mercy will go head-to-head with AEW Collision, which will be go-home show for AEW’s WrestleDream pay-per-view event, which takes place on Sunday, October 1 at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA.
