With SummerSlam continuing to draw closer, WWE continues to post retro matches from the summer’s hottest event.
The full match, which can be watched below, features WWE Hall of Famers Edge and Eddie Guerrero battling it out at the 2002 SummerSlam pay-per-view.
The PPV took place on August 25, 2002 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York in front of 14,197 fans.
Eddie passed away on November 13, 2005 at age 38, due to acute heart failure.
The 2023 SummerSlam premium live event takes place on Saturday, August 5 from Ford Field in Detroit, MI. It will stream on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else, beginning at 8:00 pm ET.
