Marvel Studios film with Seth Rollins given new title

Following a previous report regarding Seth Rollins taking on a role in an upcoming Marvel Studios film, a behind-the-scenes sneak peek from one of the film’s stars has revealed a new title ahead of its release next May.

In a post on Instagram from Anthony Mackie, the actor can be seen chatting with Hollywood legend Harrison Ford…and the back of their chairs reveals that the film, previously titled Captain America: New World Order, is now going by the title Captain America: Brave New World.

Mackie reprises his role as Sam Wilson from previous MCU project The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Ford takes over the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross from the late William Hurt, who previously played the character in The Incredible Hulk and Captain America: Civil War before he passed away in 2022.

Rollins, who defeated AJ Styles at Night of Champions to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, is reportedly playing a member of the Serpent Society, said to be a snake-themed criminal group.

The film is set for a theatrical release on May 3, 2024.
