WWE announced on Twitter Friday that SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley has hit 2 million followers on TikTok.
It was noted that Ripley is the most-followed active WWE Superstar and has more followers than Serena Williams, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hanks and the New York Yankees Major League Baseball team.
The 26-year old Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania Night One back on April 2, to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship. She has been part of the Judgement Day faction since 2022 and has been paired on screen with Dominik Mysterio in a program that involved WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
Ripley got the nickname of ‘Mami’ after Dominik Mysterio turned on his father and Edge at last year’s Clash at the Castle, thus joining The Judgement Day.
After Seth Rollins issued an open challenge on Twitter for his newly won WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Damian Priest of The Judgement Day answered the call.
Rollins is set to defend the championship on this Monday’s WWE Raw, which will take place live on the USA Network from the XL Center in Hartford, CT.
