Tonight’s edition of RAW features a Battle Royal to determine the new #1 Contender to the WWE Intercontinental Championship, while also seeing champion GUNTHER make his official debut on RAW after being drafted on the red brand.
A new report from PWInsider Elite notes that the plan is to have a surprise win in the Battle Royal, likely an underdog Superstar to collide with the champion come Night of Champions on May 27 from Saudi Arabia, but there is no word yet on who the Superstar will be.
The current lineup for tonight’s RAW is as follows:
- The Miz vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
- Cody Rhodes will respond to Brock Lesnar’s challenge for Night of Champions
- Becky Lynch will address Trish Stratus
- WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER makes his RAW debut
- Battle Royal to determine the #1 Contender to the WWE Intercontinental Championship
