A consolidated lawsuit against Vince McMahon was droped on Wednesday, after shareholders leading it say their claims became moot when McMahon agreed in late March to repay $17.4 million in costs related to investigations.
This notably only covers those costs and not the $20 million that McMahon allegedly paid his accusers since 2007.
The decision comes about a month after WWE announced a $21 billion transaction involving Endeavor Group Holdings Inc., an umbrella company for entertainment businesses and talent agencies that includes the UFC.
