As first reported by TMZ and then confirmed by several other media outlets, Jerry Springer has passed away at 79.
Springer was notably known for being the host of one of the most popular television shows in history, The Jerry Springer Show. Throughout his career, Springer was also featured on America’s Got Talent, Judge Jerry, and The Price Is Right.
Springer was guest host of an episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, back in 2010. Springer also appeared on a 2014 episode of WWE Raw to moderate an intervention between The Bella Twins. In 2015, Springer hosted the WWE Too Hot For TV show on the WWE Network.
